An unnamed client of Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's longtime personal attorney, is Fox News host Sean Hannity.
The revelation came after U.S. District Court judge Kimba Wood ordered Cohen to disclose the name in a court hearing on Monday.
In an earlier court filing Monday morning, lawyers for Cohen refused to identify the recent client one of three people Cohen represented between 2017 and 2018. The lawyers also refused to identify the names of other past clients.
Lawyers for Cohen whose business records were seized by FBI agents April 9 said the then-unnamed client had told Cohen not to disclose his name and that they believed Cohen had a duty not to disclose it.
They also said that if Cohen's clients, other than Trump, were publicly revealed, it is "likely to be embarrassing or detrimental to the client."

So what? Have you gone nutty?

So many black-robed tyrants.
FBI = KGB. And the Courts are like the courts in Stalin’s show trials.
This is a mockery of a Constitutional Republic. Sh**, let’s just make our horse a Senator.
And so what if the evidence gets suppressed from use in Court? It's not like the KGB...I mean FBI,...can somehow "unknow" it. They will use this information to intimidate and silence countless others.
They just did.
Sure, here are two reasons for you:
1. He probably just found out
2. It's REALLY none of your business..........Is Hannity legally obligated to inform you of all his financial investments when he talks about the rising stock market?
Hannity has not retained cohen, but he is admitting he had consultations. He should have disclosed when he started covering stories with Cohen in them.

Should Stephanopoulos disclose his ongoing association with the Clintons. Should Come dispose he voted for Clinton. Should the entire MSM disclose who they voted for?
I post this to you because I have long respected your work on this forum for exposing the climate fraud. I often comment on those threads. Please bear with me as this will be a long post.
I obtained one of my degrees in Germanic Languages in 1981, and then went on to law school. Early in my first semester, my Civil Procedure professor turned the class over to a Holocaust survivor, who told us of what he had to do to be the only member of his family to survive Auschwitz. As he told his story, having been a keen student of history (another of my degrees) I thought “OK, yeah the Holocaust was bad, so....”
Then, at the end of the lecture, the professor took the podium and said “Your duty as lawyers is to make sure this never happens again.” That’s when it hit me like a punch in the gut. Where were the lawyers, where were the Courts, in Nazi Germany, to stand up and say “You can’t do this; these people have rights.”
After the presentation was over, in mingling with my classmates in the student center, their general attitude was “Yeah, that’s bad. But that can’t happen here.” Having read lots of German literature pre- and post-war, as well as having always had an interest in that period of history, I knew that if you had confronted the average German of 1927 with a hypothetical of what would happen in the next 20 years, they would have said “That can’t happen here.” Twenty years later their popular culture in film, theater and literature was filled with nothing but “How could we have let this happen?”
So as I heard my classmates in the fall of 1981 talk about how “That can’t happen here,” I thought they were fools. Their hubris was almost guaranteeing it would happen. WHen I read this one particular news item, it strikes a very serious chord within me. The FBI/KGB/Gestapo search of Michael Cohen’s office tells me:
It’s happening here. Right now. Just as I feared it would 30 years ago.
If you got this far, thanks for reading.
It’s also an obscene conflict of interest on the part of former Clinton AG nominee (failed) Kimba Wood.
There’s no way she should have gotten any case remotely related to the Clintons.
Of all the crimes WE DO KNOW that Clinton has done we see this turd overstepping, and looking for anything on this President.
Now this crap needs to stop , because it feels we are living in a communist country, add the media who are lying, exploiting, and manipulating the ignorant masses.
This needs to go to the Supreme Court. They need to put an end to the Nazi tactics that are being used against our president. This is civil war.
Sean!
Bean Gettin’ On!
I hope Cohen had some good stuff on the Clintons...the whole thing could have been a plot to get it out there. Maybe just wishful thinkin’...aye!
It says the judge ordered it released.
“Kimba Wood ordered Cohen to disclose the name in a court hearing on Monday.”
Hannity isn’t a reporter, he’s an editorialist and does commentary. In particular he made extensive commentary on April 9th about the raid on Cohen’s office without disclosing to his audience that he was personally involved with Cohen and that details about himself could have, or would have, been included in the materials siezed.
I think that would have actually made his commentary MORE powerful, pointing out that he couldn’t possibly be involved with ‘Muh Russia!’ but that the stampeding of attorney-client privilege had now brought him into the situation.
The fact that he talked extensively about the raid on Cohen’s office without mentioning his involvement with Cohen was a mistake. I calls ‘em like I sees ‘em.
I was referring to leaks of some of the material they seized.
You call having a personal conversation with Cohen "involvement" with him? Why would you think he would have had any reason to think a personal conversation he had would come up in this investigation or in court? You realize that Hannity talks to dozens of people every week looking for information on the numerous stories he covers don't you?
This is the United States not East Germany. Who he talks to is no one's business.
I don’t know how to embed a tweet, but here you go:

I’m not a journalist jackass. I’m a talk host.

And that means his personal relationships and conversations should all be publicly disclosed? You’re be-clowning yourself big time!
