Facts continue supporting Trump's decision to fire James Comey
The Hill ^ | 04/15/18 | Sharyl Attkisson

A lot of new information has come out in the year since President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. No matter whether you admire Trump, Comey, both or neither — it’s now difficult to argue that Trump made the wrong move in removing Comey. Even many of Trump’s detractors would agree that no president should keep in place the head of a crucial division who — along with some of his top staff — apparently worked to undermine or control the president, and exercised poor judgment in important matters.

Here are 12 ways Comey has proven Trump was right to fire him.

Etc...

The Hill isn’t great but it’s better than Politico

Great article and there are more. The FBI tried to conceal the infamous tarmac meeting. And Comey admitted he violated procedures and exonerated Hilary in order to spare her an “illegitimate presidency”.

Facts don’t matter to the Left. Only that the seriousness of the charges only goes one way.

Yes, it’s good to see Sheryl getting back into the periphery of the MSM. The Hill is not a source I use or consume but seeing her get a slot there is a good sign for her.

The below letter is my take on him.

From: Retain Mike Sent: Friday, April 13, 2018 11:14 AM To: WSJ Letters (wsj.ltrs@wsj.com) Subject: Comey Is First A Dirty Cop

When reading Comey’s book, people should first consider the source. He committed an egregious violation of FBI Director authority by stating Hilary Clinton should not be prosecuted. An attorney general or district attorney possesses the authority to decide what if any crime should be pursued. Whether federal, state, or local, police powers are limit to actions for investigation and arrest. That is why we have grand juries and judges deciding upon charges.

Comey lied by saying the lack of intent to reveal national secrets through Clinton’s feeble and prohibited computer system absolved her from prosecution. The applicable statute, which is Section 793(f) of the Federal Penal Code (Title 18), criminalizes gross negligence thereby rendering intention irrelevant. As such the law shares common ancestry with those from traffic violations to negligent homicide.

Therefore, people should consider this manifest lack of integrity as they give credence or value to Comey’s statements.

I didn’t even notice it was written by her. She was a MSM type once, no?

I wonder if she was left once or always right in her heart.

That “intention” excuse should have BLOWN AWAY a well read and educated public. Or even SEMI well read.

It’s SO BASIC that i couldn’t believe when he stated it.

Comey should have named his book “I Dindonuffin!”

Since he didn’t the title is still available to McCabe.

If I kill someone while driving, I can still be charged with 'negligent manslaughter' or 'involuntary manslaughter' even if it was an accident and I had 'no intent' to kill anyone.

Apparently for Hillary, ignorance of the law is an excuse.

Sharyl Attkisson quit CBS because of their liberal bias. She was reporting some of the best-sourced most negative stories on Fast and Furious, Benghazi and on 0bamaCare and CBS was burying her work.

She was also spied on, her computer hacked, by the 0bama admin. and went public with it instead of cowering like so many other reporters that 0bama spied on.

I misspelled her name. It’s Sharyl, not Sheryl.

Yeah, she was big in MSM.

She was a CBS News investigative correspondent who resigned from the network after more than two decades, resigning after disagreements over CBS’s pro-Obama bias.

She’s a truth-warrior.

Her computer was hacked by a government agency and classified documents were planted on her computer. No doubt it was Obama people who didn’t like her stories that put Obama in a bad light. They tried to frame her so she could be arrested. But she was able to show that her computer was hacked and that files were planted in it. Thankfully, the Obama computer hackers in her case and in other cases were not top shelf. Look for a more deceptive hacking group for the democrats in their next cycle at taking power. They will become more dangerous.

She’s since written some great illuminating books.

Can’t say I’ve been to Polutico for a while.

I quit The Hill long ago because it was being overrun by the Lunatic Left. Long before Trump.

A quick glance at the comment section just now not only confirms that, but highlights just how batsh*t crazy and insane the Left has become.

The private server setup alone should have been all any decent prosecutor needed to show “intent”

Is is possible that now that President Trump has agreed to bomb Syria, the MSM has been directed to write positive stories in order to continue manipulating him?

While acknowledging the “Steele dossier” contained “salacious and unverified” material, knowing it was produced with help from an ex-foreign spy and understanding that it relied on primary sources who were said to be close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Comey apparently did not open an investigation into this effort to impact the U.S. election and undermine the American president.

This quote here is my biggest frustration with the Mueller investigation. If they (as many have said) are going to follow the Russian collusion narrative no matter where it leads than they should be investigating the role of the DNC, Clinton Campaign, and partisans within the prior administration and our intel/LE circles for promoting a Russian work of fiction to the point that it became a FISA warrant on a political campaign combined with unmasking and leaking to undermine an elected President.

This would be the true fulfillment of an impartial special counsel, but that is not what we appear to have. This targeted Trump and the target has never moved. In my humble opinion, the Republicans who continue to speak publicly about the “need to protect the Special Counsel” would do well to mention it. Otherwise, they are demonstrating membership in the status quo is more important than truth.

By any objective measure - all politics aside.....

The collusion narrative (and obstruction to since it has morphed) fits the other side far better than the Trump campaign. The cheerleading and speculation by an obviously biased media has made it far worse, but only one side that I am aware of paid a former British agent for information from Russians and then pushed it throughout government and in court.

I am willing to be that 100 out of 100 prosecutors at any level would have charged the email case if the defendant was not named Clinton. This angers me greatly. I realize that the politically connected and wealthy often have inherent advantages in any nation, but this whole “too big to fail” and “too big to jail” is an open admission that not all animals are created equally in direct contravention to our constitution and the law.
