If you listened to Trump’s speech, he made it VERY clear that we were not going to be there for any extended period of time.
Trumps simply doing what Obama said he’d do and failed to do. So I don’t want to hear a word from Dem’s.

Obama and Kerry got Assad to destroy the last of his chemical weapons. That was not disputed by U.S. intelligence, which is now claiming Assad is using chemical weapons.

My guess is that Trump’s team feel that N. Korea will respond better in the process to disable its nukes if they think we will strike anywhere at any time. My guess is that it’s a message to China to contain itself & its puppet N. Korea. Not saying I agree with this BTW....just my thoughts on the long-game here.
It’s not about chemical weapons......it’s about stopping the war.
That is an important aspect of MAGA. We are the leading country in the world, respect us, respect civilized standards, else face our and our allies’ wrath. We and the Russians have been pushing back and eliminating Islamic terrorists, Assad is no better, now hopefully his military, especially chemical weapons and delivery capability, are destroyed.
