Actress Charlize Theron said in an interview that she has considered leaving the United States for the sake of her adopted children due to increased concerns over "racism."
"I dont even know how to talk about the last year under our new administration. But racism is much more alive and well than people thought," she told Elle Magazine.
Theron said due to the current political and social climates in the country, she wants to ensure her African-American children, ages six and two, feel safe.
"There are places in this country where, if I got a job, I wouldnt take it. I wouldnt travel with my kids to some parts of America, and thats really problematic," she said.
"There are a lot of times when I look at my kids and Im like, If this continues, I might have to [leave America]. Because the last thing I want is for my children to feel unsafe."
Theron, 42, was born in South Africa and grew up during the country's apartheid era.
"Theyre going to have to know that its a different climate for them than it is for me, and how unfair that is," the Oscar winner said of her children.
The interview was conducted by comedian Chelsea Handler, who has been a vocal critic of President Trump.

I suspect that Charlize Theron hasn’t much left of her career now that her fat buddy Harvey Weinstein has flushed himself down the toilet.
Since she’s a South African, I’d recommend that she spend her wealth to raise a division of mercenaries to protect white South African children from the black neo-Nazis pigs controlling her country of birth, who have pledged to murder white children.

I hear you honey, there are definitely some parts I avoid.
Who is this clown and why should we care if he leaves?
Epidemic SFB in Hollywood and California Progressive Ghettos.
She should move to Japan where there is no racism. Lol.
A new word:
charlize (verb): To pretend (whole living in the U.S.( to be angered and upset by racism, imagined or not, and threaten to move away from it, and then, stay put because it’s still the safest and best place to live on the planet.
Geeze. The USA is less racist every decade but that isnt fast enough. And where was Charleze 10 years ago vis a vis this horrible racist hellhole? 20?
I’m sure the black community that you pretend to be in solidarity with can understand your suffering.
I am literally afraid to state many opinions and beliefs publicly because I fear for my career. So-called tolerant “liberals” would take great pleasure in crushing me - merely for holding a different opinion, not following the liberal agenda.
This. I am equally closeted for my family could not have a social life if the other families knew I was one of them. Because, you know, they are tolerant.
I'm also astonished by this. Our urban thug culture may be the least educated in the history of man kind...and that is not a stretch.
Western Europe calls Charlize. Theyre far stricter against racists (real and perceived) over there. Youd fit right in. I recommend Malmo. Youll get a ringside seat to diverse, cultural exchange.
Charlize, please do your research prior to relocation. Particularly if you are considering the Middle East or Asia as your destination.... You’ll find the racism and hostility to ‘others’ in many of the countries therein nearly unlivable.
Good luck!
I am starting a crowd fund account for a disgruntled US actors home in somalia.

Adios bitch. I’m sure you’ll find more fame,, wealth and adulation in South Africa.
If only all these celebs would do as they say, the most vocal and hypocritical racists in our country would be GONE!
I dont know Charlie. America is probably the safest place for a white person.
That is all you need to know but use the Internet if you don't believe me.
