Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is fully aware he may be fired soon and is at peace with the possibility, NBC News is reporting.
The news network attributed the information to a source who has spoken to Rosenstein.
That sources, and two others, said they have spoken to him numerous times during his tenure as deputy attorney general. And they note he now seems less anxious than in previous times President Donald Trump has been critical of him.

Well he was fired before by Sessions and then was rescued by POTUS, whose kindness he has repaid very badly.
In the NBC article, Rosenstein is said to defend HIS firing of Comey, and that as yet undisclosed facts will back him up. HIS firing of Comey?
Rosenstein’s memo is very damning of Comey - and Trump’s best defense against an obstruction charge on this issue. It provides Trump as complete defense.
Why is Rosenstein being discredited and fired?

So after Trump has someone fire Rosenstein, who does he appoint in his place? Does the Deputy AG spot remain vacant until a replacement is appointed or does someone move up and become acting Deputy AG?

I repeat......Rosenstein’s memo provides Trump with a complete defense on any obstruction charges relating to Comey’s firing.
Rosenstein implies that there is as yet undisclosed information that will further support HIS conclusions in the memo. This is a good thing for Trump.
So...why is he to be fired?
