Marcela Rivera told Eyewitness News she lives in constant fear.
She's an undocumented mother of five American children whose husband, Carlos Gudiel, was just deported back to Guatemala on Wednesday.
Eyewitness News obtained video of him in his home country as he was tearfully reunited with his mother.
"My husband is not a criminal," Rivera said, in Spanish.
Rivera said her husband did cross the border illegally twice but he doesn't have a criminal background. It may be hard for people to understand her situation, she said, but all they ever wanted was a better life.
The Harris County GOP chair said the immigration system needs to be fixed regardless.
"We need to enforce the law," GOP chairman Paul Simpson said. "He's a grown man who made this decision after he'd been deported once before to violate the law again and then father five children, so I hope his family does get reunited with his family back in his home country."

Kate Steinle’s family is having a tough time too.
She gets to stay because even now we are only removing those illegal aliens who have already been convicted of other crimes or have standing removal orders.
We should be removing EVERY illegal alien that ICE comes across.
They can take their kids back to their own country.

It’s so sad that this illegal is separated from her deported illegal husband. I hope ICE will deport her too and reunite the family.

If they meant "Everyone born here is a citizen" then they would have said "everyone born here is a citizen".
But it does not say that. It says: "All persons born [or naturalized] in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens"

Have a general amnesty for all employers until May 30 to clear their personnel of

departure. Forfeiture in case of escape or criminal activity.
Registered Bounty Hunters acting as bloodhounds for ICE which effects the
captures will thin the herd.
