On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) stated it “would be suicide” to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller and President Trump should have “confidence” in Mueller.
Grassley said, “I have confidence in Mueller. The president ought to have confidence in Mueller. And I think…it would be suicide for the president to want, to talk about firing Mueller. The less the president said on this whole thing, the better off he would be, the stronger his presidency would be.”
Grassley also praised Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ work and argued the president shouldn’t put the Senate through another confirmation battle.

This just has to be a joke, right?

Obama didn’t admit that people in his Admin did anything wrong. He would say that he was going to investigate it.
“The President should have an attack dog hounding the DOJ instead of doing it himself.”
Every conservative in Congress needs to go on the attack in defense of the President. He is the only hope we have in turning the good ship America back on course. Considering the good he has already done, and that which is on his agenda, the Trump should be the largest and most effective promoters of a president in history.
These cowards need to either step down or swing from a lampost.
I can’t think of any republican elected official who will stand by Trump in his fight against the swamp monsters.
What we are witnessing is the meltdown of the Deep State and Washington bureaucrats who are “too” comfortable as their narrative is being destroyed. I called and wrote my Congressman today and called for the impeachment of RR and firing of Mueller. Their wiggle room is now gone.
Wake up and smell the napalm... scorched earth has already arrived.
This not fighting back thing has been proven ad nauseam not to be an effective strategy.
The enemy does not fear us. Until they do their relentless depredations will continue. They should be given real reason to fear.

People here keep talking of this stuff like it is just some goofy TV show, when these people get away with it because they know no one back home in any numbers will say a thing. Because conservatives have a nasty habit of never showing we have real numbers to display in public and scare these people we send to DC into doing their jobs, but will complain all day and night online that Trump needs to “just do XYZ”, as if it is that easy, to make the problem go away, as if his abilities are unlimited, and our role is just to critique and comment. And beyond that, we just go about our day.
He can fire those people and he could have vetoed the bill.

Well I wish you’d share the information you base this on. The DS is going to go? Based on what evidence? Looks like they are just gathering steam and stripping away all of Trumps support and defenses and in the process his popular support. People are waking up to the fact that no matter who is ‘elected’, the DS is and always will be in control. Again, if you have any knowledge to counter this, please share. Just wishing it doesn’t count.

Did you ever hear democrat Swamp Dwellers advising Obama on what he could and could not do?
Did you ever hear them issue a serious warning to Obama not to pusue a specific coures of action the way republicans do to president Trump?

Because the first loyalty for most republicans is not to the nation, or even to the party - it is to The Swamp and their fellow Swamp Dwellers.
Want this to stop Mr. President? Force Sessions to bring charges against Obama, Hilliary, the Clinton Foundation, Lerner, Lynch, Holder, Rice.
Or expect for the witch hunt to continue until you’re impeached.
