Zuck: Yeah so if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard
Zuck: Just ask.
Zuck: I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS
[Redacted Friend's Name]: What? How'd you manage that one?
Zuck: People just submitted it.
Zuck: I don't know why.
Zuck: They "trust me"
Zuck: Dumb f#@$s.
Phony silicon leftist POS.
Is he trying to run for POTUS?
Hey, when he is right he is right.
I don’t think he knows what he thinks he knows.
My “real” facebook account does have a lot of photos I like to share, and it is attached to an email address. But the photos are “meh”, and the email address is one I set up specifically to create a facebook account.
Oh, and the age and birth date on it are bogus. So yeah, he has the information, but either it is irrelevant, wrong, or information I don’t care if the whole world knows.
Job prospects at risk.
Interesting. The origin story when this shoulda come out was in 2010!
Did people not know that Facebook was spying on them?
My fake facebook page has me as a confused white guy who thinks he is a black lesbian. That might skew their data just a little bit.
So that was YOU?!?!? That's a relief...
I’m a cartoon character with no friends.
Most of these DFs will continue to trust him because he will tell them, "I made a mistake and I'm sorry."
People are always telling me to get on facebook for this or that reason and I tell them, "No, thanks. I don't want my info spread all over the place." Now I can tell them, "SITYS." They didn't understand that they can't get these goodies for free. There is a hidden cost and it's your info.
I'm trying to find how to run a smart phone without google. It's like trying to build a car without a motor. Their tentacles are everywhere. Some years ago, I read a novel about a company like google/facebook that had backdoors into everyone's life. I kept thinking, google/facebook at the time.
And when did he say that? Just curious.
Because I thought he said it when he was in college.
I don’t like the Zuck.., but I am not going to hang a lot on someone for what they said when they were in college.
BTW Zuckie is just one of those snarky ethnic boys!
Unfortunately, this arrogant leftist POS is 100% right.
I learned about 5 years ago you don’t even have to willingly give them data. All you have to do is just connect to farcebook and they can get what’s on your computer much the same way peer to peer sharing did back in the Napster days.
Another example is McAfee or Arlo Cameras. With my permission, people in India took full control of my computer to fix problems. The technology is there, all farcebook has to do is bypass the permission part.
Nothing, with exception to nothing, is secure on the web. Man created the technology, man can figure out how to defeat it. Period.
Unfortunately for Zucks attorneys the suit for fraud and malice is now a slam dunk
You’re still feeding the beast.
We
Need to starve it.
I starve it by not clicking on ads, news feeds, etc.
I use it to communicate with my family spread all over the country. Hence the photos.
But we are really just naturally migrating away from it. My wife facetime’s the grandkids a LOT. One of my daughters and I use google hangouts to talk. Another uses facebook, and another uses mainly email.
