What ‘dog expert’ included Great Danes and St. Bernards in this ban - and was it just because they’re ‘big’???

Ping to doggie list
As a point of clarity, I have a Golden Retriever who is impossible. I don’t think breed, alone, predicts the behavior of a dog. I’ve known GSDs, Rottweilers, and Mastiffs that are a sweet as big babies.
And when you get into “mixed” breeds, how can you tell without a DNA test? I’ve noticed that our local Humane Society, that publishes a “dog of the week” ready for adoption in the local newspaper no longer guesses at a dog’s heredity. Too many nice pitbulls were languishing at the shelter.

I want a Lurcher; but not till I’m retired and out of this small apartment :-)
The sweetest dog I ever met was a Bernese.

Probably because they fall into the molossoid phylum of canine. Big dogs.
Chihuahuas are the most aggressive dogs ever.

Good. It looks like Wolf-German Shepherd mixes are allowed. All the dog lovers should get a pack and walk them to the Homeowner’s Association meetings.
