Tech titan Jack Dorsey of San Francisco-based social media platform Twitter applauded an article in something called Medium in which some other hipster CEO described how liberals intend to crush Normal Americans into serfdom in a bloodless “civil war.”
Here it is.

The liberal plan for civil war does not take into account how prosperous states like Texas went hard right in the 90s and show no sign of changing colors, and there is no mention of how Republicans hold more elected offices today than at any time in history. If the liberals ever get their wish for a new civil war, my money is on the side with all the guns.

I do not want to ever see a CW II in our nation and do not encourage it but I know that it is possible and having studied atypical warfare I understand how some of it would go.
SF would be a good initial target. Some fertilizer and fuel oil with some powdered aluminum mixed in with it and the water delivery system that SF folks drink from and use to flush their toilets would not be delivering water to that city. It would take weeks to fix the mess and could be accomplished somewhere else again in minutes.
Those big power towers that carry electricity to your city could be yanked over by a D-7 that can be found on many construction sites. Hell, it will only take a few minutes so take several out. It will also take weeks to put those lines back into service.
That same fertilizer mix can take out railroad bridges and freeway overpasses or any other structure that defies gravity to stand up.
I’m wondering, with fuel, water, electricity, and food deliveries cut off or highly restricted for weeks at a time just how the folks from that area can stand up and be so damn sure of themselves. I can only guess that being liberals and all they think watching their children suffer and die is justified because it is all for a good liberal cause.
There are a few million vets out here in the red zones who have been trained in atypical warfare who are actually capable of these things. I never want to see any of them happen but anything can happen when a population without any political representation is pushed to far.
Many like me will stand against all of this but what usually happens to those people is that the other side keeps pushing to the point that even the reluctant souls join into the destruction of the socialist cities and everyone who lives there. I can only hope I am strong enough to withstand the pull for violent retaliation.
Words to the wise would be if you do not make your own power or can’t live without electrical power, and if you can not produce your own water or grow your own food, then maybe you should think twice before you start telling people from other cultures who can do all of these things how you will enslave them.
Personally, if push comes to shove, I think the ones you believe are weak enough to be enslaved have other plans.
There are bo longer free elections in California. The General election is, by law, a runoff between the 2 highest vote getters in the Primary. In California that means 2 Democrats. In State elections, if you do not vote for a Democrat you have no voice. Outside of the large cities along the coast there is great dissatisfaction with the way the state is run. Among the “coasties,” for the past 2-3 years, all you hear is “civil war!” The lefties really think they’ll win! I say they won’t (they’ll lose bigly) but then again no one will win either. Hard times are coming amid an American revival led by PDJT.
Losing the Presidency, held by our first elected Communist, and the failure of his Communist successor to hold the oval office, has the leftist spitting mad. There is no salve to sooth their hatred. Only Trumps blood will do followed by our blood.

Dorsey probably has bodyguards, unlike his unwashed workers, but in a real civil war, he won’t last a second. He forgets that angry Patriotic Americans have most of the guns and ammo, not Quiche and Lottes, and they know how to use them.
How many combat vets are their among the California business elite? Not many I’ll bet. Probably have more combat vets on my street than in the tech world, and definitely in my neighborhood as a whole. Ever been to a Moose Lodge, Jack?
So, Jack, forget about a civil war. You’ve already lost it by bragging about how you plan to win it. Pretty soon there is going to be a real workers revolution and you will be on the losing end of it, as will California.
You can hide in your expensive condominium or ranch or mansion, but eventually reality is going to catch up to you.
In a real revolution, the “people” go after the rich because, in the words of the immortal George Carlin, “They have plenty of STUFF”. I seem to recall something like that happening in 1789 and 1848 and 1917 (the revolution succeeded and the people lost and still are poor.)

I think too many people romanticize civil war as somehow bloodless, or of only a little blood letting.
A civil war in this country will leave scorched earth in a lot of cities, and perhaps tens of millions of people dead. Then a rebuilding period that will be miserable too, and probably among a handful of new nations that will not be constitutional republics.
I would hate to see Joy Behar or Anderson Cooper get their heads blown off on live TV.
But war is hell.

What if many cars simultaneously ran out of gas on major arteries of a large city at rush hour. The commute would crawl to a standstill.

being a dystopian society such as that seen in the Hunger Games Series where the serfs labor and toil to feed the Elites who just want to party.
They have indoctrinated enough young people for the last two generations. They are waiting for the above to die and will achieve their goal through attrition. The young have never know freedom and so it will not be anything they know to fight for.
