Three people have been killed in the western German city of Muenster after a van drove into people sitting outside a popular restaurant.
The driver of the vehicle died after shooting himself, police said. They are not looking for more suspects.
About 20 people are reported injured in the incident, which occurred near the Kiepenkerl statue in the old town. Six are said to be in a serious condition.
Police have closed the area and asked people to avoid the city centre.
"The perpetrator drove into several cafe and restaurant terraces in a major square in the centre of Muenster," police spokeswoman Vanessa Arlt told the AFP news agency.

If you follow local news from the region. The guy (born in 1969) is a known mentally disturbed German (not an immigrant or foreigner). The news folks do report him being dead from a gunshot. I’ll wait for the smoke to clear on this....it may be a cop reacted and just shot the driver (that maybe he wasn’t carrying a gun).
If it’s in your cop records that you are mentally disturbed....zero chance of you getting a gun legally (through Darknet, yes absolutely).

At a rural Texas intersection, a van full of young muslims pulled up beside me. Their van was painted with islamic slogans like”Death to America’” And they were snarling at me when I guess they got impatient and ran the red light.
A big truck tee-boned them. All died in the wreck.
