Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), in an appearance on The Ellen Show on Thursday, joked about killing President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, or Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Host Ellen DeGeneres asked Harris, “If you had to be stuck on an elevator with either President Trump, Mike Pence, or Jeff Sessions, who would it be?”
The California senator paused before answering the question.
“Does one of us have to come out alive?” she responded, cracking up at her own joke.
She did not answer the original question.
Sad that we have elected people publicly discussing the death of our nation's president.
This is the 2020 democrat nominee for POTUS.
“Subtle threat against the president.”
Yes it is. In earlier times, something like this could be dismissed as a wisecrack.
And yes it was a wisecrack - a badly chosen one.
But in today’s take no prisoners political environment, a gentle reminder visit by the Secret service ought to be fair play.
Imagine the same thing being said about Obama, the secret service would be at their house, but making threats against President Trump, its all good..heck CNN called for his murder the day before he officially became President
