But one pro-gun proponent’s effort to calculate a prorated number used the 2010 homicide rate of 4.8 per 100,000 and that year’s 4.3 million NRA membership to compute an infinitesimal average of 0.0000048 murders per member. The bottom line is NRA members are probably among the most law-abiding citizens, yet this is whom anti-gun activists target.
As a pro-gun critic claims, “there has not been a reported mass shooting ever by an NRA member. If there had been, the liberal media would have jumped all over it the second it was learned, and the NRA would never have heard the end of it.”
Focusing on NRA membership is misplaced. Each perpetrator’s behavior above established himself as a misfit. Cruz clearly should have been committed to a mental institution by court order. Where students like Johnson and the Utah student were involved, young minds were easily impacted negatively by Islam – a potential threat source desperately in need of a national debate lest it continue poisoning young minds.

Can anyone conclusively say that ANY NRA member has ever committed a murder?
I mean, I know there has to be some, but I really have never seen an article in any news organ which stated categorically that the murderer (not self defense) was an NRA member.

I, too, believe that somewhere an NRA member gun owner has indeed committed a Murder of the Moment, when human emotions overcome all normal restraints, (i.e.) Family problems.
The statistic I’d love to see is the number of NRA members who have taken that gun into the liquor, drug, convenience store, gas station, or business for the PURPOSE of committing a felony crime. I bet thet’a an easy one.
There can be little doubt by anyone who has the ability to think clearly and can see things for what they really are, that the lefts ultimate target and desire is to render everyone defenseless and heaven forbid to have any guns. All anyone has to do go down history lane to see what has happen in the past. First they come and take your guns and then they will tell you to jump and all you will be allowed to ask is “How high and how far may I jump” Only ignorant and dumb people can not see what the ultimate objective is.

Naturally, since the anti-self-defense crowd views law-abiding people and the rule of law as exponents of oppression. They seek to use the law against law-abiding people, giving them the choice of losing the means of self-defense or becoming outlaws in their own land. Criminals are their thing, and they desire to create lots more of them.
Which due to the recent membership date and past social media presence of the nut, would surely be discovered almost immediately. But other than the membership, not reported.
