The AR-15 is a .223 round which is the civilian equivalent of a 5.56 NATO round
This guy is great. Standing up against the gun grabber mentality
“When are you going to think about the majority. I am the majority...We’re the first ones taxed and the last ones considered and the first ones punished.”
My AR-15 is made for the higher pressures of the 5.56, but it takes the .223 round.
Unfortunately he is precisely the reason the progressives in government, media, and law enforcement, conduct psy-ops and encourage as many drip, drip, drip, horrific mass shootings as possible.
He / We are the problem enemy to their agenda and plans.
I liked that line.
Word is that if Leftist are crazy enough to repeal the 2nd Amendment and attempt to get the guns. It is conservatively estimated that 30% would not comply and 10% would actively resist. Remember that’s conservatively. I bet it would be at least 50% or more.
Going back to the conservative numbers. That means it would be somewhere between 10 to 30 million man army or in other words the largest army in the world.
Civil War II guaranteed!
Pray to God that it never comes down to that.
He should be the new NRA spokesman!
The City Council is full of posers. They are only for show. The Guilford County Commissioners have all the power.
If they outlawed marijuana in NC, what % of people would still use it?
Oh wait.....
Canada tried a long gun registry a few years ago. Non-compliance was somewhere north of 90%. In Canada.
They estimated total cost to be about $100,000,000 to institute the program. After wasting $2,000,000,000 they canceled the entire thing.
I heard about one old guy. Every single morning, he appeared outside his police statin and raised an old .22 rifle in the air and challenged the police to come take it. They never did.
Exactly!
There are illegal drugs, but people end up getting them.
You cannot legislate yourself to public safety.
Haha!
Well MY AR-15 takes .223 or 5.56, 7.62x39, 6.8 SPC, 300 Blackout, 9mm, and one or two others that I am probably forgetting. So there. ;)
Just changing my tagline
Sweden outlawed most guns so the most popular gun there is an AK-47 assault rifle(full auto selectable). They are pretty cheap on the black market and usually come with a free hand grenade.

Great video! Thanks.
Well, aren't you just the over-achiever! :)
Mine only eats some of the ones you mentioned, and I like the fact that I can get the .300 Blackout in good subsonic loads. I'm interested in something big-bore, .458 SOCOM perhaps?
Btw, given your screen name, I have a .44 Mag carbine that is just a tack driver at 100 yards... Not to mention a couple of revolvers. Love the cartridge!
That guy is outstanding!
I’ve considered .458 SOCOM, but not sure I want to spend that much on the ammo. When I want to spend 1 to 3 bucks (or more) a round for cartridges, I prefer to spend it on the long guns like 30.06, 300 WinMag, or .338 Lapua.
When I shoot AR-15, I practice a lot and mostly defensive, inside 100 yds. Inside of 100 yards there is no real advantage to spending more on ammo than necessary. For long range shooting my pace is much slower, so I can justify the greater per round expense, and I will spend more for a good high velocity heavier grain HPBT to get the results I want at 300-1000 or more yards. I ‘could’ shoot the AR out to 400 or 500 yards, but most of my AR-15 uppers are set up for in close (red dots vs scopes).
BTW I have come to love the AR set up for 9mm. I can take that and my Glock out to the range (<100 yrds), a single ammo box of 9mm for feeding both (very convenient), and do all the skills and have fun. Highly recommend trying a good side charger for the pistol caliber AR’s. Very effective as a home defense rifle if you live in a place with neighbors and don’t want to velocity of a .223 round inside the house. Loads of fun to shoot.
I appreciate your remarks about the AR in 9mm. I'll have to give consideration to this!
Thanks for the reply! Best FRegards!
No problem.
A little warning regarding AR in 9mm. I went through a learning curve to get to a happy place with the 9mm. There are many options but if you don’t put all the pieces together correctly (correct buffers, springs, etc) you might experience failures to cycle or even damaged parts. There are way too many options on the market and of course its not mil-spec. I started with trying mods to a mil-spec AR lower, using the colt mags, and had all kinds of cycling challenges. Long story short, I finally found New Frontier Armory (see below). Glock mag compatible lower, side charging upper, and they can tell you exactly what BCG, buffer, and spring you need to avoid BCG or recoil system failure. I was able to repurpose most of the parts I experimented with earlier, and the NFA products are top notch. Usual lesson, you get what you pay for, right? Good luck if you try this.
