JUST IN: Two law enforcement sources say authorities have preliminarily identified the YouTube shooter as Nasim Aghdam, a woman with previous addresses in the Southern California cities of Riverside and San Diego.

But “Iranian, vegan, animal rights nut,” that’s quite a lot. And she came from Shiite Muslim culture. Some of those folks “aren’t very religious” after moving over here, though. I met a few in CO who were probably from around the mountains of Iran. They said that they were more friendly to the older, more secular system with the Shah and all of that. But they were Muslim. And as they said, “not very religious.” A woman among them was somewhat...revealing in dress at times, gazing, harmlessly but boldly flirtatious a time or two and the like. They leaned toward Asian food with no meat.
Nasim, by the way, may have hinted at a dietary concern of Muslims in one of her videos there, IIRC. Interesting character. A little scary, too.
From looking at her website, I suspect she got in trouble for showing animals being abused and tortured.
Youtube has gotten kinda ridiculous about this. My son likes to watch a guy named Shawn Woods. He has a mousetrap channel. He is no longer allowed to show mousetraps in action.
They have really painted themselves into a corner by not standing up to the SJW's. The leftards start off by going after the right, but always end up eating their own as well. This woman is a good example of that: She is a vegan PETA type and she got kicked off youtube
Did I mention this one, where she said that she was from Iran? ...some Azeris in northwestern Iran.

Another case where law enforcement didn’t take a warning seriously?:
Ismail Aghdam said he reported his daughter missing on Monday after she did not answer her phone for two days.
He said the family received a call from Mountain View police around 2 a.m. Tuesday telling they found Nasim sleeping in a car and he warned them she might go to YouTube.
Mountain View Police spokeswoman Katie Nelson confirmed officers located a woman by the same name asleep in a vehicle asleep in a Mountain View parking lot Tuesday morning.
She says the woman declined to answer further questions. Nelson did not respond to a question about whether police were warned Aghdam might go to YouTube.

Let’s put on our “Carnak The Magnificent” turbans: “We investigated and saw no public safety risk”, maybe?
That would explain a few things...
Her webpage shows a connection to Instagram Farsi. That’s Perisan-Iranian. Her looks are on the Persian or possibly Turkish side, not Arab.
The language referenced on her site is Farsi. That is persian.
Farsi? That language exists in the subcontinent but it is spoken by a tiny minority.
Farsi is the official language of Iran.
Indeed.
Which means that the media will drop this story as if it never happened. As this story was breaking yesterday, I was on my way home from work listening to Bloomberg radio business news, and one of the commentators started theorizing that this shooting may have been driven by a backlash against YouTube's stricter policy on firearms-related videos. He even mentioned that the NRA has encouraged people to rise up against censorship, suggesting - in a not so subtle way - that this incident was somehow NRA-related.
Now that it turns out that the shooter is an Iranian, radical vegan, the story will be forgotten.
Every group has crazies. She was looney tunes.
Alahwahoo Whackbar!
Thew acrid stare of the recently sodomized?
I dont like the Its not terrorism line very early in an event. But this chick was wack-a-doodle.
No photo - I do not want to have to re-rinse my eyes again this morning. 100% guilty on all counts.
pointy chin, related to D Hogg? Butt ugly under the pancake makeup.
Was she still a Muslim, or had she turned pure Leftist?

The difference between a pure Leftist and a muslim? The muslims have 5 holy books.
