Trump Makes Progressive Democrats Go Left Toward Toward Socialism.
Take Trumps putting "Are You a US Citizen" on the next census. The Democrats and their minions scream foul. Yet Trumps move lets us know how many immigrants (non citizens) that we have. How else are we to know so directly. So the Democrats move even further left.
Trump say he will use the military to Fund some of the Wall and the same thing happens. Democrats don't care if they go so far left that they don't care about the dead ranchers and the drugs runners pouring across our borders.
The only question is how far left will Trump now make them go?
The consensus of the 17 responses is that you are lacking in knowledge about what a Progressive really is and I agree with them. Start with President Woodrow Wilson.
You have a very strange animosity to people giving credit to Trump.
Your post has caused some irritation among the pretenders.
They don’t want anyone giving credit to Trump for pushing the democrats to the left.
This is because Trump’s actions are ruining their game.

Progressivism will go on long after Trump is out of office. He isn’t making them go left. He is slowing them down from going left faster than they want and that makes them crazy mad. Obama set them moving that way and told them that Hillary would win and that they could move even faster when she’s in office. Their leftward movement is just inertia combined with energy from the generation that spent their formative years listening to Obama.

Even further back...start with Republican Senator Robert M. LaFollette Sr, the father of Progressivism in the USA.
There are two things here.
One is the democrat ideology—communism.
The other is what they pretend to be in public—mainstream American.
This poster is right in giving Trump credit for pushing their public image to the left.

First, you can’t derive how much the poster knows about history. Your points about history are only an attempt to distract.
Trump is pushing the dems to the left. This makes America great again.
First of all, let’s replace the words, “democrats”, “progressives”, “immigrants (non-citizens)”, with the word, “media”.
The only threat from the left is from the media...it is the media which gives democrats, progressives, and immigrants, any power at all. The media provides them a platform to speak at will about their desires and philosophy. Meanwhile, RINO’s (cousins to democrats) are too cowardly to fight back.
THe progressives, democrats, and immigrants are not driven “left” by Trump, or anyone else. They are trying to silence Trump because he is exposing their game. He’s not afraid to call them out on their criminal and socialistic practices and ideals. He’s disturbing their money flow and neutralizing their power.
The only threat we have from the left, is cowardly republicans sitting by and letting them have their way. Cowards like McConnell, Ryan, McCain, etc., are so terrified of “bad publicity” from their boogie-men in the media, they’d kiss Obama’s ass in Times Square is that what it takes.
The solution likes in the true, conservative, citizens, who are NOT afraid to speak out and fight for what American used to be...free.
Illegal immigration is foreign invasion, theft of public, taxpayer, funds, and an intent to remold American into the shitholes they came here from, using re-purposed, “civil rights” tactics, and intimidation.
I don’t know how it will eventually end, but those of us who will not stand up now, are crapping all over those who have died for our freedom for the last, few hundred years. They believed enough in this country and the concept of America to get off their asses and protect it.
Trump driving lefties to the left?...I guess the police drive honest people into being criminals, too. The shepperd drives the sheep into the wolf’s den, and the preacher drives people to atheism.
It’s a narrative to vilify Trump, and true conservatives. I’m not buying it, at all. Progressives are mentally ill, and put that illness on display every single day...with, or without, Trump....or, did you sleep through the eight years of Obama and Clinton?

Pretenders?? Why is it good that the people who produce the most babies and bring in the foreign voters are moving to the Left? It is a pretender who thinks that it is a conservative virtue to force people to move left.
Democrats are now openly going left. Better for us. Better for America. Because the further left they go, the fewer and lower level elections they win. Because no matter what they think, Americans as a people are a lot smarter than they give them credit for.
Trump is forcing the leaders of the democrat party to show how communist they really are.
They don’t want Americans to know how anti-American they really are.
The point of this thread is simply to show how Trump is making America great again by exposing the fraud of the democrats.
Their most powerful weapon against Americans is lying. Trump is exposing this.

Maybe the vanity post is just that badly written. A vanity should be a very well-constructed article and not just a collection of words thrown together to create more questions about their meaning than discussion of the post’s thesis.
I think we’re dealing with organized communists ... The Hyde Park Chicago and Columbia University type... and they’ve been with us AND getting stronger - long before Trump came on the scene.
Freepers who criticize a vanity should be able to recognize the point of a vanity before they criticize it.
Fidel Castro used to refer to leftists in America as his “fellow progressives”. I would say that they are actually communists, but not in name. Only after do communists get total power do they usually admit what they are. That was the case with Castro.
The point of this vanity is not to write on the history of progressivism.
It’s to show how Trump is making America great again.
