FACEBOOK EYES THE MIDTERMS
Powerline ^ | March 30,2018 | JOHN HINDERAKER

So it all comes down to, who are the fact-checkers? A Facebook employee stated at the press conference that approved fact checkers will be those who have signed on to Poynter’s international fact checking network principles. You can see the list of signatories at the link; the only one that I recognize as more or less conservative is the Weekly Standard. Facebook has already said that it will use Politifact and Snopes, both left-leaning, as fact checkers. At the press conference, it got even worse:

In the US, we recently announced a partnership with The Associated Press to use their reporters in all 50 states to identify and debunk false and misleading stories related to the federal, state and local US midterm elections.

The Associated Press is the number one source of left-wing bias in the American press. Its “fact checks” are directed almost exclusively against President Trump and his administration, rarely against Democrats. I have written about them a number of times. In my judgment, the AP’s anti-Trump “fact checks” are wrong as often as they are right. Most often, they just assert Democratic Party talking points. If the AP is to be Facebook’s principal fact-checker for the midterm elections, Facebook may as well outsource the function to the Democratic National Committee.

The Left coined the phrase “fake news,” but President Trump co-opted it and made it his own. Nevertheless, Facebook appears poised to march doggedly on under the “fake news” banner, using it to repress conservative voices on its platform.

Ah, Snopes:

Barbara Mikkelson also accused her ex-husband of embezzling more than $100,000 in company funds. She urged the court to limit access to David’s bank account because she said she feared he would drain the company funds due to his wild spending habits.

David claimed Barbara took millions from their joint accounts and bought property in Las Vegas. He has since remarried to a former escort and porn actress, Elyssa Young, who is one of the site’s staff members. Young, who was a Las Vegas escort until at least 2015, charged $500 for her services. She also starred in porn films as “Erin O’Bryn.”

Snopes refused to accept that Hitlery Rotten Clinton lied about the origin of her name. They even tried claiming maybe her mama lied to her about it.

Facebook is putting the Ministry of Propaganda in charge of fact checking.

And now comes the big effort. Everything conservative will be repeatedly attacked as Bots, Russians, or be “fact-checked” and described as a fraud.

Conservatives are not allowed to use the internet

Maybe a little off-topic...The minimum age for being elected POTUS should be raised to at least 45.

FB has 2 billion users. FB goes belly up bankrupt.

Where will all users go when FB is dead?

Sounds like a blood-in-the-streets opportunidad, Si?

“Sounds like a blood-in-the-streets opportunidad, Si?”

Why are there so few conservative internet entrepreneurs?

We bitch and moan about the leftists owning all the biggest and most influential sites, yet no conservative seems capable of creating tools comparable to FB or Google.

> “Why are there so few conservative internet entrepreneurs?”

Short answer: money.

Wall St. IPO specialists are in the pocket of fund streams and the fund streams have access to central banking. CIA hooligans hang around central banking circles.

Google, FB, Twitter, Amazon are all CIA props, seriously. Jeff Bezos is a ‘CIA Kid’, grew up in a CIA family. He’s connected. He worked at D.E. Shaw in Manhattan to get trained on how to act as a player for the Intel-Wall St. complex.

Brin, Page, Schmidt, Dorsey, and many others are all props.

It takes a lot of $$$ to set up networked server farms, broadband transceiver structures. Cisco is used by the Intel Community to do the spying, their routers and servers were developed to handle the growing bandwidth. If a non-connected business tries to do it, Cisco is going to charge them through the nose.

There are barriers to entry for everyone except the chosen.

Oh please. None of these companies started with big money. Gotta come up with a better conspiracy theory than that.

Not a conspiracy theory at all. Seed money is almost always provided by Silicon Valley angel investors looking to sell later at 15X to 30X pro forma earnings.

After these small companies pass their proof of concept, they are reviewed how they might be useful. In the context of social media, all are useful for surveillance. Enter the spook money which is channeled by front manager venture capitalists. The spook money comes from dark central banking channels. The Fed Reserve will never allow an audit of their books. Those in Congress who have pushed to audit the Fed Reserve were quickly retired, except for Ron Paul who was viewed as harmless, as a fringe outcast.

All of the above is documented except for the identities of the spooks. When talking to a spook contractor about future funding, the contractor may arrange a meeting with a heavy Venture Capitalist. One enters the office, sits in front of the desk. and observes all the military and government awards, certificates, service photos hung on the walls. Later, one hears the VC is an IC member or very close to them.

For many years, this system worked very well, run by true patriots who in turn funded young entrepreneurs who were also patriots. Ross Perot’s EDS was an example. Ellison’s Oracle is a CIA creation but Ellison was not always a patriot. In the 1990s, the culture started to change. The cool kids, Jobs, Gates, Allen, Parker, and many others became garage myths. Patriotism waned, Being technically ‘cool’ was the new paradigm.

Bezos never made a profit with Amazon until 2011, and then just barely, and not in all quarters. But it was enough to get a $600 million CIA investment for ‘Cloud Services’ and he was told to use about $120 million to buy the nearly bankrupt Washington Post. Later he got more funding and he still gets funding from ‘deep state’ entities.

The garage entrepreneurs are funded by small investors initially in a series of funding. To become giants, they need the spook money. But intel managers don’t give the money directly, they use fund managers who answer to them. Can’t get big without fund managers packaging an IPO and getting subscribers. the subscribers are fund managers who are told to get in. To get to the IPO stage, the garage operators have to be seen as an emerging asset for the ‘customer’, the Agency, the CIA. SAIC is one of the top CIA contractors that does the above, There are many others. The system is pretty much rigged.

An outsider entrepreneur doesn’t stand a chance. If they indeed invent a better mousetrap, they are bought out and forced to the sidelines. Or, if they are seen as malleable, they may be groomed to fold in with the Agency.
