Laura Ingraham, a Fox News host, apologized under pressure on Thursday for taunting a survivor of the school shooting in Parkland, Fla., as three companies confirmed they would pull advertising from her show.
The dispute began Wednesday when Ms. Ingraham shared an article about the student, David Hogg, 17, getting rejected from some of the colleges to which he had applied and accused him of whining about it.
In response, Mr. Hogg, who has rapidly become a prominent advocate for gun-control policies, called on Ms. Ingrahams advertisers to boycott her show. Three of the companies, TripAdvisor, Wayfair and Nutrish, said Thursday they would pull their ads.
As news of the boycotts began coming out on Thursday, Ms. Ingraham apologized.

Oh Good God. Say it ain’t so!
If I were him; I just wouldn't GO to any of those colleges!
That'll show 'em!
Behold, the best mind the left could elevate:
Laura played it right, as did Hannity with the Seth Rich thing. You have to walk a thin line with these modern day fascists. I’m sickened by all of this boycott hysteria, and especially this little sh!t getting away with it to some extent, but Laura played it classy, and he will jump the shark if he presses his 15 minutes of fame any further.
Has he returned to classes????
Let’s face it. Advertisers control the media—even the so-called “conservative” media.
I barely watch any of those shows anyhow. But, yes... she caved and emboldened the little shit. I will never watch her again for any reason. When you speak up... think.... think... And be willing to stand by your decisions. This sucks drain water.
Golly; I wonder WHY they don't want this kid?
Too much anticipated drama on campus??
Folded like a cheap suit.
Is that really a big whoop? Someone inform me if three advertisers is considered a big deal. Whole thing seems like political theater.
Same with Sandra Fluke and the NRA though, the left really likes to strong-arm advertisers. I can't recall the right prominently doing that anytime recently, but I might be missing something.
unforced error on her part. teasing the little dork because he couldn’t get into ucla was unnecessary. now it looks like she’s getting pencil whipped by a feeb.
Poor Florida! This was their change to ship him back to California from whence he came!
The strong-armed advertisers thing started in the ‘70s when the prudish wing of the left went after National Lampoon and Playboy’s advertisers with targeted hate campaigns. Lampoon fell by the wayside but Playboy simply refocused on non-prude advertisers such as alcohol and cigarette companies. I often why Fox doesn’t do this. Simply target advertisements from companies that actually respect american values. I could live without Wayfair and Nutrish if they hate the second amendment so much.
A big mistake. In a few weeks nobody will even remember this little pipsqueak.
Colleges should know Hogg comes with a ton of Trouble
I’ve already boycotted her. A few weeks ago she had this totally disgusting POS (an aide and spokesman for Hellary at state) named Philippe Reines who during a debate with Dr. Gorka made a smart-assed remark which Dr. Gorka took issue with and wanted to ask him why be so rude and Laura didn’t stop Rienes to keep it civil......she told BOTH of them to keep it civil. Screw her. I don’t care if her show is canceled!
This is total BS. David Hogg has admitted he was not in the school during the shooting. So referring to him as a survivor is just wrong.
He's a survivor of that shooting in the same way that I'm a survivor of the Twin Towers collapse on 9-11.
Well Laura gave him an inch and now he wants a mile...Who couldn’t see that coming?
