The theology program at the Jesuit-run College of the Holy Cross has taken on a new tone ever since the school appointed a gender-obsessed Chair of New Testament Studies who claims Jesus was a drag king, a new article contends.
Writing for The Fenwick Review, Elinor Reilly of the Holy Cross class of 2018 argues in a March 26 article that Professor Tat-Siong Benny Liews unconventional readings of Scripture have brought a new theological perspective to Holy Cross.

To a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
“Hes an attention seeker.”
The author is a woman.
Ah, just in time for Easter.
Substitute Muhammad for Jesus and lets see how long this goes on.
The only thing Holy Cross has going for it is Navy ROTC. When that leaves, close this pustule down.
“He goes on to say that the crucifixion itself is some sort of masochistic sex act. This is one real sicko.”
The author is a woman.
I agree with the sicko part.
OK. SHE'S an attention seeker.
“Disgraceful man.”
The author is a woman.
Jesuits, stopped reading after that word.
He is so going to hell...
would they consider Clogged Leftist Toilet University?
New theological emphasis indeed. Some call it demonic.
The one argument people give for the existence of a denominational structure is to keep churches and church organizations in line. So, where is the Catholic Church in keeping this group in line? Hmmm
Holy Cross Theology Professor Says Jesus Was a Drag King with Queer Desires...
heck, ANYONE who’s ever read the Bible knows that lol
what a ####.
You have to read this article, if you read ANY today.
Jesus has a sado masochistic relationship with God.
While he made it clear he was a Jew, he didn’t make it clear he was a man :)
Because every time someone asks me my religion, I say “I am a Christian, and a man” :)
Then they into water sports, which is so beyond revolting you have to read it to believe.
This really is no surprise. The “Divinity” departments in most mainstream universities have nothing to do with believing in Christianity or any other higher power anymore. They are the same as any other liberal arts or social sciences department — radically liberal. Religious teachings are there simply as a tool to be molded in the service of extreme progressive causes.
And note how trendy and unoriginal these pronouncements are. Today, Jesus is a queer drag queen. 30 years ago, he was a Communist. There’s no original thinking. Its all glomming whatever the current PC fad is onto Christianity.
Mary Magdalene disagrees.
Some how I think if Pope JPII or Pope B XVI were the pontiff now, these colleges would be shut down in the theology departments cleanup of the trash that is in there now.
The current Pope Francis is a likeable fellow, but likability is not what is needed when confronted with such evil.
The Jesuit Professor was a woman? If so, Disgraceful Woman.
Rename it to: Satanic Church of the Inverted Cross.
Jesuits... again.
Queer theology - on a couple of different levels.
Efforts to diminish Our Lord are futile for a multitude of reasons. The world was well aware of the uncommon attraction that sometimes exists between members of the same gender, and the unfortunate course of events that often ensue when this affection is openly expressed in inappropriate fashion.
Jesus’ love for all humanity was never expressed inappropriately, and his affection for women was no less than his affection for men, everywhere he went.
And what does “drag king” even mean? Somebody who had the fastest quarter-mile down at the strip? Not even on the radar in the year 33 AD.
Christ the Lord was everything the prophets had forecast, and always so much more. Some theologians do not deserve the title.
It’s either he doesn’t exist or he’s a homo. Which is it you leftist freaks?
