Blacks must have stayed home.
Safe GOP district.
AL still Red.
Gee, I wonder why no one is hearing anything about this anywhere except here.
WOOT!
So much for the ‘blue wave’ !!!
Doesn’t feed fake news media/Democrat narrative of a Blue Wave.
Too many libs continue to tout their fantasies about Doug Jones win in Alabama. Alabama is not turning blue or even purple. It is as conservative as you can get. The one and only reason he won is because we (yet again) shot ourselves in the foot by nominating a deeply flawed candidate. If I were Jones, I wouldn’t go signing any long term leases in DC. He has to stand for re-election in two years and that seat will be coming back home where it belongs.
Doug Jones will be kneecapped by his liberal voting record.
And his anti-gun rhetoric doesn’t play well down South.
Pressler’s the cat’s ass, and so is his hair.
Reynolds defeated Democrat Terry Jones with 53 percent of the vote to win the District 21 seat in the state House of Representatives formally held by Jim Patterson, who died suddenly following a heart attack Oct. 2, 2017.
Jones lost to Patterson in 2014 in the race for the District 21 seat. Patterson received 67 percent of the votes.
Reynolds’ election comes just as the 2018 legislative session is expected to end on Wednesday. The same two will meet again in November.
Thats a blue “cave”, baby.
The Dems have to beat their drums, get their base high on booze and drugs, and sen d them out to vote.
The fact is that they all just go home after the party and crash. They do not vote. Too stoned!
Indeed. And he is pro abortion! In Alabama!
Thanks for the background info.
You are correct. He will lose his next election. GOPe forced a canadate and he lost to a local phenomenon. Then everyone stayed home after the republican primary because it was all screwed up by that time. Roy pulled a Hillary and didnt campaign and counted his chicks before they hatched. 2020 will put the universe back to its natural state. Until then there is a slight tilt to the left.
Seems like an unusual amount of Congress people are quitting in the middle of their terms.
This was a State House election.
55% of what remained after a massive voter suppression effort on the part of Richard Shelby and the National Republican party.
Painting the Senate Candidate as a rapist and child molester pretty much suppressed the normal vote for the whole state.
Can’t be disrupting the narrative, of course.
My guess is it might be the IG report. The rot runs deep.
