Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum said Sunday that student activists should take a CPR class instead of protesting for stricter gun laws.
During a panel discussion on CNN's State of the Union, Santorum suggested the kids were 'looking to someone else to solve their problem'

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum suggested that the students who took to the streets Saturday to protest in support of stricter gun laws would be better served learning something like CPR to prepare them for the next mass shooting.
'How about kids, instead of looking to someone else to solve their problem, do something about – maybe taking CPR classes or trying to deal with situations that, when there is a violent shooter that you can actually respond to that,' Santorum, a Republican, said Sunday on CNN's State of the Union.

It is a practical skill (along with using a tourniquet), and the simple truth is that while we can say this is in the name of “school safety” it is in fact a much-needed skill set in Islam’s War on the West. Kinda like how prepping for the zombie apocalypse happens to require the same skill set as prepping for other domestic problems...
The thing about students rallying for gun control, is that it is PC and it already takes it for granted that that is the solution to the problem.
Would be much better to rally for better school security, to include gun control and all other measures. ALL OTHER MEASURES. That is, if they really want to solve a problem.

I though VP Pence is getting the “Rick Santorum” treatment by the vicious, petty liberals of today.
For Rick’s familys sake, I hope he is done trying to run for president. Sometimes our big dream is simply not meant to be.

Along the same lines, anything that can be done to make schools safe from “evil white kids with guns” also should make them safe from Muslim attacks (remember Beslan?).
And then they can be schooled in recent SCOTUS decisions (Heller v District of Columbia,McDonald v City of Chicago and Caetano v Massachusetts) as well as the Constitutional process of amending the United States Constitution.
You can’t cut school to learn CPR.
Pigg boy has political aspirations. He won’t have to go to college. Maybe not even graduate and get a GED. He’s probably on a stipend from the Clooney and other liberal money. He’s on a coast.
His latest complaint is too many police are guarding the school and they’re all racist.

He is actually correct, but for the wrong reason. Many, many more kids die of sudden cardiac death each year than from school shootings.

David Hogg was not in danger, he was making a video against firearms from the safety of a closet, inside a locked room, in a separate building some distance from the shooting. No gunshots are heard in the video and one of the students he interviewed denied hearing any shooting before entering the room and closet. It is not clear that David heard any shooting, either.
This was a very large school and campus environment, and all shooting occurred in one building. Students outside of that building were not at actual risk.
I'm especially troubled that any march over school shooting took place yesterday, 24 March. The Arkansas shooters are both out of prison. They are the only US mass school shooters living, apart from the Florida shooter. Mass school killers appear to be motivated to emulate a prior mass killing and achieve notoriety, apparently through media attention. Well, there has been a great deal of that. Sorry for the weasel words, but it is hard to be certain.
It is no wonder the military comprises of a razor thin slice of our population. These kids appear to not be able to do anything for themselves but act like infants.
