I also had to go to detention for a week cuz my homeroom nun wouldn't turn on the radio....so I disappeared and one of my teachers snuck me in their room.
Good! A couple of nations have been bragging about their abilities to nuke us without being stopped.
Send Jeff Flake to Mars. We need “volunteers”
Because that’s a great priority after getting his ass handed to him by Congress.
After the failures of the Obama years, this is great news.
Our son will be an Aerospace Engineer in May. Should be able to get a great job.
Bread and circuses.
We won’t have a country if we don’t get a wall built.
Apollo 8, the second manned spaceflight mission in the United States Apollo space program, was launched on December 21, 1968, and became the first manned spacecraft to leave Earth orbit, reach the Earth's Moon, orbit it and return safely to Earth.
William Anders
"We are now approaching lunar sunrise, and for all the people back on Earth, the crew of Apollo 8 has a message that we would like to send to you."
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.[4]
James Lovell
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."[4]
Frank Borman
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good."
"And from the crew of Apollo 8, we close with good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas and God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth.[4]

Apollo 11, first men on the moon:
On July 23, the last night before splashdown...
Aldrin added:
This has been far more than three men on a mission to the Moon; more, still, than the efforts of a government and industry team; more, even, than the efforts of one nation. We feel that this stands as a symbol of the insatiable curiosity of all mankind to explore the unknown ... Personally, in reflecting on the events of the past several days, a verse from Psalms comes to mind. "When I consider the heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the Moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained; What is man that Thou art mindful of him?"

Who’s going to listen to him again after today? I’m going to have to think about it!!!
Unmask Solar Warden.
There: fixed it!

FOUR PILLARS FOR A UNIFIED APPROACH: President Donald J. Trumps new National Space Strategy drives a whole-of-government approach to United States leadership in space, in close partnership with the private sector and our allies, and is based on four essential pillars:
Transform to more resilient space architectures: We will accelerate the transformation of our space architecture to enhance resiliency, defenses, and our ability to reconstitute impaired capabilities.
Strengthen deterrence and warfighting options: We will strengthen U.S. and allied options to deter potential adversaries from extending conflict into space and, if deterrence fails, to counter threats used by adversaries for hostile purposes.
Improve foundational capabilities, structures, and processes: We will ensure effective space operations through improved situational awareness, intelligence, and acquisition processes.
Foster conducive domestic and international environments: We will streamline regulatory frameworks, policies, and processes to better leverage and support U.S. commercial industry, and we will pursue bilateral and multilateral engagements to enable human exploration, promote burden sharing and marshal cooperative threat responses.
What a damned joke. With what money? Our great grand kids? They WILL NOT PAY!! Trump sucks!!
Send all the socialists and communists to the red planet.
Yes, on the same day a less than optimal budget makes the Military a priority again. Does anyone get the linkage of the two? I do.
My guess is Obama FUBAR'd the Military SO BAD that he was willing to take it in the shorts to make it right.
I don't say this lightly, and after speaking to an airline pilot friend of mine and getting a lay of the land in aerospace and what is going on, we are going to have to suck it up and take it for now.
No I am not gonna give the details of my conversation in the a public forum...
1. There’s no wall.
2. There’s no funding for a wall.
3. There’s no one in Congress even fighting for a wall.
1. Hillary Clinton, James Comey and their corrupt associates are not in jail.
2. No one in the administration is even trying to put them in jail.
3. No one in Congress wants to see them in jail.
And we’re supposed to give a damn about some stupid space exploration program that will probably never happen.
Its more important to see what Congress wants on this because they get their way 99% of the time and he stands back to allow it.
bump
bammy cut the space program and not one word in the media about it. Nothing. It was because the space program was a symbol of American greatness. bammy hates the USA, and so he cut the space program. bammy is a piece of $HIT.
Excellent. Thanks for the post.
