Nearly a year before Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired senior FBI official Andrew McCabe for what Sessions called a "lack of candor," McCabe oversaw a federal criminal investigation into whether Sessions lacked candor when testifying before Congress about contacts with Russian operatives, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.

We want him to ignore this crap, grow some ‘nads and get indictments.
“According to the sources, McCabe authorized the criminal inquiry after a top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, and then-Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., wrote a letter in March 2017 to the FBI urging agents to investigate “all contacts” Sessions may have had with Russians, and “whether any laws were broken in the course of those contacts or in any subsequent discussion of whether they occurred.”
So Sessions “good friends in the Senate” went after him right away and he does nothing.
Well then Sessions should either have not taken the job, or he should have not left all Deep State matters is in the hands of Rod Rosenstein.
Sometimes I get the impression you don’t like Jeff Sessions.
Good analogy.
As many have said, we are in a coup. I would add that I have no idea who is the "good guy" anymore outside of our President. Kind of scary times for America.
It's all about collegiality and "reaching across the aisle," you understand.
Republicans are good at falling for that trick.
Charlie Brown Football Lucy.
Perhaps you'll get the impression some day that I don't want Deep State Rod running the DOJ.

Ask Trey Gowdy if Sessions “acted innocent”.
He took the job. Then Franken set him up in hearings. He was set up. He did not see an issue with inconsequential contact with a Russian blow toad. All senators have inconsequential contacts with blowtoads. Then he is informed that his contacts with Russians might be a conflict of interest and that he must recuse himself because of justice department rules about conflicts of interest. He doesn’t know that he is being investigated by his underlings. Then someone else with a huge conflict of interest hires a special council (yes, I get why the president misspells it every time) to investigate Donald Trump’s hemorrhoids.
Keep in mind that as someone who never ran for public office before, Donald Trump wasn't exactly the kind of guy who had a circle of associates who knew the first thing about serving in a U.S. cabinet position.
yes the deep state uni-party hates Jeff as much as the President. thank God Jeff and the President have friends in the Highest places.
Which means this is a planted story.
Dems know McCabe is dirty... so if he goes down they can always use this quote to claim he’s not one of theirs.
He promised to recuse, under oath, in front of Congress, before he took the job.
Possibly. But I suspect that the main source for the article is McCabe himself.
No, the reason he signed off on the firing when he did and not before was because he was waiting for the recommendation to fire McCabe and they took that long to deliver it.
