President Donald Trump was infuriated after it quickly leaked that he had been directly instructed by his national security advisers in briefing materials not to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his recent election victory during their call Tuesday morning,

The President has every right to be furious over this.
When he dies, President Trump will be forever displayed alongside Vladimir Lenin in the mausoleum as a Hero of Socialism!
I heard that on CNN today...
Trump breaks ranks to congratulate Putin on landslide election victory

McConnell and Ryan went right along with this nonsense. Rather than remind people it was Trump who shocked the world by BOMBING Russia in Syria.
I just found this interesting story from the Compost a few years back. I was trying to find W.’s quote about looking into Pooty-Poot’s eyes.
It means he is not a puppet.
Obama congratulated Putin when he was reelected in 2012.
Whoop-de-doo.
Find the leaker. There would be a very short list. A close relative was one of the briefers for Clinton’s daily intel assessment. The reports are finished only hours before the briefing, maybe 10-12 staffers see it or sign off. Who would know he was fuming?
Polygraph everyone in the know. One day and you’d find the leaker.
Let the country with no voter fraud throw the first stone.
Obama’s “flexibility” gave up our missile defenses and nuclear arsenal to Putin, and our uranium. But let’s all pretend this phone call is an issue.
Fake News....
"a source familiar with the President's thinking said."
Not a source who was there. Not a source who heard anything. A source familiar with the President's thinking. Right.
I’ll wait for a reliable news source before commenting instead of the DUNN.
Trump should have a battalion of polygraph professionals ready to move in and check everyone. In fact, this should be done randomly frequently, say once a month.
Oh and bye the way.
President Obama called Russian President-elect and Prime Minister Putin to congratulate him on his recent victory in the Russian Presidential election...”
McMaster..
Private conversations between POTUS and his National Security Advisors? It should be easy to find out everyone who overheard the conversations and locate and remove the leaker.
Let’s say we accept this at face value (I know, I know... CNN) but let’s go with it fro a moment. A real danger of leaks is that the President becomes distrustful of his closest advisors. And in those circumstances, he might start to isolate himself from seeking counsel of others. And that means his decision making is hampered. So a small minded weasel can put some leak out there and smugly smile to himself “oooh, I got him good with that one!” all the while potentially making the nation less safe. They should be found and prosecuted to the fullest possible extent. One would do it I think. Maybe Comey, he admitted it. But jail time, no plea deal.
