Even Ward 8, however, is changing. I stand by my prediction that DC will be the first city to have a predominately white MLK Avenue. Old Town Anacostia is already gentrifying. It's too close-in not to. If it weren't for the abundance of housing projects left over from the 1960's and 70's, the process would be much faster.
I don't know if the proposed 11th street "Bridge Park" will actually be built, but if it is, it will create one of the country's coolest urban parks smack between the Navy Yard on Capitol Hill and Anacostia. (The project proposes to use the still-intact pylons for the old 11th street bridge to support a new and quite spectacular stretching across the river. The boosters of the project have long been devoted to gassy language about "building bridges" between now-affluent Capitol Hill and historically distressed Anacostia. But since Capitol Hill is now extremely pricey (a relatively recent development) and Anacostia is already gentrifying, such a park will cause gentrification on steroids. If it's built, the slum preservation and enhancement crowd will be disappointed to discover that they've created yet another yuppie magnet.
I'm not trying to be cynical. If built, the park will be really, really cool. The whole Anacostia River corridor is going to go golden. This will take some time, but a major, accessible waterfront through the middle of a big city should be an incredible asset. And the Anacostia will be.
Low IQ.

“Low IQ” is right. This goofball probably didn’t even know that “Rothschild” is a Jewish name and is sometimes used to (de)mean Jews. He probably meant to accuse all white people in general.
It’s ok because the American Jew hates Jews also. If you think that makes no sense then look at the support given to the Democrats (even Anti-Semitic pigs) in any election.
Man, those inventive and canny Zionists can make a fortune using their snow machine in the ski resorts. I mean, having real snow instead of man made sno-ice would be great when the real climate change makes Colorado mountains a barren desert range.
