..."The brilliance of the marketing for 'Love, Simon' lies in its honesty and in not shying away from the fact that the film is a gay teen romantic comedy," said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for online measurement company ComScore. "While many films that have gay themes or a LGBTQ subtext often hide those elements in order to obscure the true message of the movie in order to make the film more 'commercial' or 'mainstream,' this film is rightly and innovatively celebrating and embracing its themes and point of view."

Why do LGBTQ people think that the rest of us care what they do with their genitalia? Very boring, already.

Just saw a preview. No danger of me seeing it in a theater...or buying the DVD...or renting it from Amazon...or seeing it on pay-per-view.
I'll be giving it a *very* wide berth.

I had a friend and classmate in college who was a “gay teen.” nice guy, super smart, but very troubled. He told me all I needed to judge the “gay lifestyle.” some of the stories I heard would curl your toes. He later attempted suicide, twice.

It was featured on Fox & Friends this morning. When I realized what the movie was about, I could no longer watch.

The audience is part of this. There are a number of shows that have sickeningly gay characters and they attract a sizeable audience.

"Are you being served" was a British sitcom (from the 1970s) that lightly touched on the subject and featured a prominent character who was portrayed as probably homosexual. My favorite,by far,was Mr Mash, followed by Miss Brahams (particularly in the earlier episodes) and Mr Granger.

Coming out as a fag is so yesterday. Nobody cares, which is sad.

The problem is not whether it will fail--it will, without a doubt.
The problem is how many foolish kids will it lure in and lead to destruction? This isn't a TV series, it's a recruiting tool. Never doubt that.

True. I haven’t seen anything this brilliant since the men were trying to beat down Lot’s door to try and rape the angels God sent to S&G.
Yes, that is some amazing brilliance there.

they do not hide it.
Woe to them!
They have brought disaster upon themselves.

The ‘brilliance’ of the homosexual movement has always been to deflect people away from thinking that homosexuality, at its core, involves one man inserting his penis into the rectum of another man.
I doubt that there’s an honest medical expert alive that thinks it’s a healthy behavior - regardless of how good it might feel. If we are to use that standard, then let’s all start doing coke and heroin.

Yes, but the tension that kept the plot moving, was that Will and Grace would eventually hook up, that they were both attracted to each other. Weird.

All Hollywood thinks about is sex. SEX SEX SEX SEX. But then when you actually do it, they shun you. It’s just out of control and in the long run, what’s going on in Hollywood will be very bad for women in the workplace.
