A thread to discuss the results.
I feel like Lamb has a lot of momentum, has run as a moderate, and has run a better campaign. I'll predict he'll win tonight (although I'd like to see Saccone win).
NYT does a good job with election results.

GOP could learn a lot of those same lessons. As far as I can tell, Saccone is in favor of forming a committee to appoint a panel to discuss the possibility that perhaps something could hypothetically be done about allowing criminal illegal aliens who have committed violent felonies to stay in our country for an infinite amount of time, as long as nobody at the NYT or WaPo calls him a bad name or something. He’s less clearcut than that on the opioid epidemic and trade.

How many of these people that vote for the libertarian know anything about the guy? A protest vote? Never understood it.

LOL you went from Saccone is going to win to “Well the dem win tonight is not a victory”
Yes it is. Nobody cares about the margin. He’s another DEM in congress. It’s a BIG WIN for them.

Don’t get those senior citizen pollwatchers upset now!

1000, 2000...3000....4000
If it's 2000, we can pick up about 800 votes

One thing is clear: there is no Blue Wave. If Democrats cant beat a Republican candidate in a competitve district by a healthy margin, forget about them taking over the House.Competitive district? Trump carried it by 20%, and the Dems haven't even run anyone for Congress in the last two elections.

and what of those two precincts out? The non absentee votes?

No need to be a little bish

“3 hours to count 1195 ballots in Washington county tonight per Bret Baier.”
Don’t be surprised if voter turnout is “higher than expected”
Maybe 1195 will become 2000 or even 3000.

Without knowing, I am going to guess he was a JAG type. The type of people who our men in combat have to be concerned about, and for good reason.
Like this POS, looking to punch a ticket. From what I can tell, the guy Saccone is not a bad guy, but he seems stodgy in comparison to this leftist he ran against.
People are shallow.

You’re right about that - they will chalk it up as a defeat for Trump should Lamb win.
I actually expected Lamb to win. I just didn’t expect him to struggle to get over the finish line.
Cuz the polls are never wrong, are they?

Agreed. It seems to be a meaningless victory anyway if the district is eliminated.
The Dem ran as a Trump supporter, not as a Pelosi Democrat.
He won't be able to vote that way!

If it's 2000, we can pick up about 800 votes That would be 70%. That's a high percentage.
