Tillerson is from a town in Texas very close to where my grandfather was from. He reminds me so much of him — a true gentleman.

I thought he was a great choice for SoS, and I’ll be sad to see him go. Unfortunately this shakeup won’t be a good look for POTUS, even if Pompeo ends up doing a good job.

I just don't think Tillerson and Trump got along. I know, I know, for months any discord between the two has been labeled “fake news” but there was enough there for most to understand they had different visions of the world. When Trump excluded Tillerson in the North Korea announcement, I knew Tillerson was done.
