Given the chance this morning to put to rest the question of her Native American ancestry, Elizabeth Warren dodged, bigly.
On Fox News Sunday, guest host John Roberts asked Warren whether shed be willing to take a spit test of her DNA. Warren ignored the question, sidestepping instead into a tear-jerker about her daddy falling in love with a beautiful girl, but that his family bitterly opposed the marriage because she was part Native American. Eventually, they eloped, claimed Warren.
Her voice thick with, um, faux emotion, Warren vowed that no one is ever going to take away what her parents and grandparents told her about her heritage. So . . . looks like no spit from Senator Warren.
Note: Warren was also transparently, annoyingly, evasive on the issue of her presidential ambitions. She declared, I am not running for president in 2020. Right. Shes not, today, an announced candidate. How slippery. Warren could declare her candidacy at any time in the future without contradicting todays statement. I wish Roberts had followed up: does that mean you will not run under any circumstances?
Warren also rolled out the typical politicians spiel about focusing on her 2018 race, while mentioning the incredible privilege of serving the people of Massachusetts. Would it kill her to be honest, and say something like: sure, Im thinking about it, but its still a ways off.
Note segundo: Roberts cited this editorial from the Berkshire Eagle, a Massachusetts newspaper, that called on Warren to submit to a DNA test. The paper had previously endorsed Warren in her Senate run.
With your 4 tests...have the results been similar, or divergent?
Her ‘daddy’?
Her previous version was that, when she was about age 9, her grandmother told her she had high cheekbones.
Warren took that to indicate she was of Native American heritage.
==
Daddy? Granny?
The hardest thing about lying is trying to keep the story straight.
I did 23andMe. Came back 99.3% European, but 0.1% . . . Native American!
So look for me to be named a Harvard professor any day now! ;-)
It annoys me how she uses down-home words like “daddy” when it suits her political ambitions.
I have a feeling she didn’t talk that way back in the Harvard faculty lounge.
How far back do you need to go for 1%???
Mine didn't. Not a drop.
It was actually 1/10th of one percent.
Given that all my ancestors came from Hungary around 1900, I doubt that I have any actual Native American blood. Maybe a little Mongol blood via the Mongol invasions of Hungary in the 1200s.
The labs were messing with some tests and putting to make sure people think they are black... Look it up if really happened.

A waste of time. Roberts comes across as petty.
There’s plenty of evidence that she lied about her ancestry. Criticize her for that and her position on various issues.
No spit!
Well someone should start the rumor that a dedicated squad from the vast right wing conspiracy is gearing up to follow her around and inspecting every bathroom she uses until s microscopic stool sample is obtained.
Make her afraid to s#it too!
Yeah, came back 58% Communist, the rest Bovine.
I enjoyed seeing Warren being put on the spot.

I’ve never heard of someone who continues to lie about something that she has been proven lying about for years. Unbelievable. This is why I despise politicians, especially ones that get caught in their own lies repeatedly
She is a pathological liar

I resent the bestowing of special rights and privileges to people based on their ancestors.
That is completely against the principles of the Constitution.
It is wrong.
No one inherits guilt or virtue.
I’m adopted and have been told for years that I have Native American blood in me. The DNA test came back, 22% native American. I have since unsealed my records and indeed my father was part Cherokee and part Mexican. I could take this further, but no need. I am comfortable in my own skin. Oh, I look like I am Native American Indian, unlike Liz who looks German or Irish or something European.
Dodges while continuing to claim Native American ancestry......
Jesse Waters told a joke on Fox Five a few weeks ago.
Since Oprah is being considered as a good candidate for president, Black Women are the “Hot Thing” for political offices.
Further Note: Elizabeth Warren just announced that she is now Black!!!
