The entertainment industry constantly lectures law abiding citizens about violence. Quentin Tarantino became rich and famous making movies glamorizing and glorifying violence.

Now Tarantino is working on a film about Charles Manson.

Sharon Tate's family want none of it.

Did the Tate family complain about NBC's TV series Aquarius?

They should have, it was awful.

Harvey Weinstein was involved with this project at one point; he and Polanski hang out together.

“She also fumed that Jennifer Lawrence, who was rumored to be attached to the film when it was first announced, wasn’t pretty enough to play her slain sister.” -—From the article

And she’s right.

An unfortunately side effect of being related to people who died in a famous way is that you never really get to get past it. There’s always going to be another movie, or documentary, or book, or new story. I understand it sucks for them, but that’s just how it works. The 50th anniversary is next year, right between the 50th for the moon landing and Woodstock, it WILL come up, you can’t make it not.

I wouldn’t go for the fact that I can’t stand either of those actors. Especially Leo.

Sharon Tate was a beautiful girl.

That is about all I know about her other than she was murdered by the Manson gang.

Tarantino isn't the only one mining the depths of Manson's depravity.

Why do they think I would have any interest in following the story of drug addled insane people culminating in one of the grisliest murder scenes ever?

The real issue is how they are going to portray Manson and his fiends. If they try to make them sympathetic, then it is despicable to be involved in the film. If they show the real evil and madness that was involved, I don’t think they should be criticized.

My ex-wife was a high school cheerleader with Sharon Tate. She was the one with the big boobs.
