Vice President Mike Pence cast his ninth tie-breaking vote in the Senate on Wednesday to save the confirmation of Russell Vought to be deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget. ..... The Senate, by 50-49, Pence casting the tie-breaking vote, confirmed Vought to the position Wednesday. Republicans control 51 seats in the chamber but two GOP senators were not present to vote: Sen. anyone giving odds he will return to DC?
Wow. 9th time. Thank you, Vice President Pence.
Wow, if the democrats can somehow take out another Republican senator there will be no more ties to be broken.
I demand that McCain resign so that Arizona can have representation in the Senate.
“I demand that McCain resign so that Arizona can have representation in the Senate.”
Demand all you want, but he won’t go until he either dies or decides to resign. The latter being an impossibility given his ego and his hatred for Trump. So bet on the Grim Reaper as the way to get him gone. I just hope the AZ governor picks a decent replacement so we don’t go through another Alabama.
Nothing as pathetic and anti-the people as Bader Ginsu and McCain hanging on by a thread while plenty of productive people to take their places.
McCain absent - wearing an ankle monitor in Arizona and calling it cancer.
McStain, the phony from Phoenix (North of)... (Cornville to be exact).
We’re just lucky he wasn’t there for the vote.
Who knows how this ass would have actually voted, up or down.
Hey John, the party is over. How about letting a person with some character, morals, and an actual grasp of Conservatism give it a try.
Good. While you’re at it, take a look at Mike Pence’s record on the Second Amendment. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you Mr. Vice President.
Pence has been reliable with his votes, something I certainly can’t say for a few others.
With some of them, you never know.
Over a year in office and still being stalled on nominations.
The swamp will not go quietly.
How about letting a person with a chance of actually voting in the Senate.
If he cannot do his job, retire.
Agreed, hence the reference to “the party is over”.
See my tagline.
Alive or for his funeral?
For a funeral - when they finally admit that he's dead.
Pence: 2018. Make America Truly Great Again.
But..but..McCain is a “war hero”, haven’t you heard?
Pence running for congress in 2018? There is no presidential election in 2018.
