Florida authorities say an inmate who killed his cellmate last month while awaiting trial for killing another cellmate in 2015 is now in solitary confinement.
The Panama City News Herald reports 21-year-old Frederick Patterson III said he killed his 82-year-old cellmate Arthur Williams on Jan. 15, and told correctional officers that “there’s one less child molester on the streets.”
Patterson, a convicted burglar, was sentenced Thursday to life in prison for killing 45-year-old Scott Collinsworth, a convicted robber, in the Apalachee Correctional Institution.

You were a corrections officer, but you thought it was appropriate for prisoners to commit crimes under your watch?
If you didn’t know his past history, looking at his picture you would think he was a nice enough guy to share a cell with........
From some of the comments in this thread and information in the article behind the link, men like Patterson should be sent to the nursing homes and loony bins. There are plenty more demented people like Williams in those places.
Perhaps the FL justice system has stumbled upon an efficient replacement for Old Sparky.

I didn’t vote for him. Although the reason wasn’t because of the ROTC thing. Obama was elected though, not convicted.

We are supposed to be a nation of laws. This worthless felon is ineligible to serve in the armed forces or on a jury, and has lost his right to vote. And you are fine with entrusting the administration of justice to him.

Someone in authority put him in the same cell as a pedophile who tried to lure a 9 y/o boy into his car but was ruled incompetent to stand trial. Accident? Or plan?

This is from KSBW in Monterey, CA, even though the incident took place in Florida.
What about the other one who was simply jailed for robbery? Did that deserve a death sentence? Or the one killed in 2015?
I understand completely.
It just was a revelation that a TV station and a radio station could have the same call letters and be in different locals - 1,000 miles apart in this case.
