....there are consequences for businesses that decide to cut ties with the NRA, a new Morning Consult poll has found. Rental car companies like Enterprise, Alamo, and National all saw their unfavorability ratings more than double when people were told about the companies' decision to end NRA discounts after the Parkland, Florida, high school shooting.
Likewise, insurance company MetLife Inc. had a 45 percent favorable rating and a 12 percent unfavorable rating before survey participants learned it ended its discount for NRA members. Afterwards, the unfavorable rating doubled to 24 percent...

winning.
By the way, you trollers from the businesses in question...Republicans ACTUALLY SPEND MONEY for their own wants and desires. In other words, when we say we’ll boycott, we will do it.
Enterprise is dead to me. I used them all the time.
I have used them quite a bit too. I'd like to find an alternative but all the major rental agencies cut ties.
Ignorance and stupidity are contagious.
The NRA was founded to protect the 2nd Amendment Civil Rights of the Newly Freed slaves who were being banned from owning guns by the Jim Crow laws of the late 1800’s early 1900s.
So, in effect these companies are saying they agree with those laws.....................
Now I do.
I have been thinking of buying a Simplisafe security system. I’ll move on to some other brand.
so....have they gained more business from Democrats than they’ve lost from us? The graph makes it appear that this might be the case.
Of course, most Democrats hate Capitalism, so will they actually spend any money there?
Perfect.
I notice that this article/poll omits for some reason Delta and United Airlines companies. I had a passing thought regarding those two, concerning a possible response to those airlines- Perhaps those, like myself, who disagree with their policy of “punishing” the NRA might just want to make their displeasure with the airline companies known to them by calling them (frequently?) to cancel flights with them. You might want to use your own name, or some other name. (Whether or not you actually have a flight reserved.) In other words, just cause confusion with their reservation system. Or call and make reservations to fly somewhere, first class, of course.
That’s an old wives’ tale. They were founded to improve Americans marksmanship. Union soldiers shot like crap.
OH, that’s the point these businesses really fail to understand. Many of us are loyal to what we trust and believe in. Betray or insult us... and you’ve lost us.
I think Hertz came out against gun-owners too, as did Avis Budget.

"It's easy to HAVE the Second Amendment. But it's hard to KEEP the Second Amendment!
Irishmen and Germans conscripted practically right off the boat had little reason to practice marksmanship prior. I’ve seen old family letters from ancestors in the Confederacy, they felt sorry for those boys, called them cannon fodder. They honestly thought they were fighting Hessians again, just like their great grandfathers had in the Revolution.

Did you know?
Founder Jack Taylor selected the name Enterprise as a salute to the WWII aircraft carrier he served on, the USS Enterprise. Today, the Enterprise name is synonymous with the leadership and vision of the business.
So a company founded by a Navy man, proud of his service in WW2, names the company after a courageous aircraft carrier, abandons the support of the 5 million members of the NRA? They can do it - it's their right - but they need to understand the consequences.
I think that you are misreading the chart- the way I see it is that Enterprise went from +52 to -9 with pubbies and +59 to +63 with dims, meaning they lost 61% pubbies and gained 4% dims. Look again. (I might be misreading it myself).
I thought of a reason. There may be no pre-nra slam polling.
or maybe there hasn’t been time to measure those companies yet.
