I think it is time to have a conversation about what the right to bear arms means in the modern world, Rice told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Friday...More specifically, Rice said weapons like the AR-15...shouldn't be available to civilians, the Washington Times reported...Rather, she supports looking to law enforcement and guards as ways for protection.

Will not be long before the Democrats proudly march her out at all of their events

Just like Venezuela.
The transcript of DC vs. Heller is your "conversation". Next question.
This is what government-run healthcare is for. Official denial of service to certain individuals or to entire groups subject only to the day's or election cycle's bureaucratic whim or edict.
Only an idiot would work for Bush
And be happy we got obama

Right, like the way the 4 cops in FL ‘protected’ the 17 students as they were being slaughtered....by hiding outside?
It takes a special kind of coward to have a gun, know children are being slaughtered a few feet away and you do nothing to try and stop it.
Sorry, but I’ll keep my guns and have the ability to protect me and mine if the time ever comes.
Guards? Is she going to pay for my guard? Is my guard going to keep my govt in line?
She played house 'ninny for George W. for eight years before that.
Well hey, at least that's one step up from the average Leftist I know, who will instead say, "I need to dialog with you."
Huh? Since when did "dialog" become a verb?
Does anyone else remember the era when Lefties would say, "Let's rap" ? They had to abandon that usage when "rap" took on an entirely different meaning.
Oh mama, take me back to those good old days with Rap Sessions and Be-In's and Happenings.
GW Bush’s ‘token’.
“How to end your political career in 30 seconds.”
I’ve got news for Condi, what it means in modern times is what it meant in 1776. The AR15 is not a machine gun or a weapon of war.
Right now, the gangs in Chicago are running around with AK47s. Citizens need to be able to defend themselves with the same type of fire power.
So any one that wants to ban the AR15, I have a challenge: Round up all the AK47s and similar weapons from the criminals first.
You cannot ban the AR-15 any more than you can ban alcohol. I’ve built a couple, and actually, an AR might be easier to make.
I plan to buy a 3D printer soon and try my hand at printing a lower receiver. There are several people on YouTube who’ve run thousands of rounds through their printed lowers without failure.
If we ever needed it, we need it now!!
Yes, ugh.
How about like “ask” became a verb?
The “ask” is that you don’t let innocent HS students be slaughtered by a total systemic failure.
People who are not the “common man” will not be making decisions for all the rest of us “common folks”.
In my humble but accurate opinion it is this:
The only thing that has changed is the view: back in the days of the Framers of our liberties, the view was through iron sights.
Now it's a target dot, crosshairs, holosight or night vision scope.
And the target has always been the same:whoever and whatever would attempt to infringe that precious right.
The place of guns in the modern world is to protect your family from being murdered by Condi Rice’s “Family”.
