A state trooper has been placed on administrative leave and is now the subject of an internal investigation, the agency confirmed yesterday.
Trooper Leigha Genduso was placed on paid administrative leave Monday, according to state police spokesman David Procopio. Genduso earned $151,000 last year, records show. She will face a departmental duty status hearing in the next few days, he added. State police have also launched an Internal Affairs investigation and its conclusions will determine what further action, if any, will be taken against Genduso, Procopio said.
He would not say why she was placed on leave, adding that state police dont comment on the specific reasons behind personnel action.

See something, say something... what’s the difference?
Then again, it's a recurring theme. Turtleboy also crushed each and every "major" news outlet in Massachusetts by proving the Andover High School varsity hockey coach kerfuffle was complete bravo sierra...and exposing how the school system's superintendent tried to get the coach fired for not giving the supe's kid enough ice time two years ago.
The press has just become plain lazy, full stop.
Thta is what I meant. Not just cops, everybody.
Turtleboy beat the “news” papers because they were fed the insider stories from sources. People don’t trust the mainstream news sources anymore. Who would ever go to the Boston Globe with a corruption story about the State Government? You would be outed and the story wouldn’t see the light of day. The Herald is starting to swing liberal. No trust even there now. The new owners of the Herald better smarten up and clean house otherwise they’re done.
Similar pay here in SoCal.
This is a news story about the website that the Mass State Trooper named. Whosarat.com
She’s hott. OK, house arrest.
My house.
Hope she can make good sammiches. But no mandatory, with that one.
Ahem
and another one.
No wonder they want to disarm the public !
Lazy, dishonest, and well compensated. Great gig if you are up to it. Almost as good as a government job.
I thought my home state would be more reasonable about Trooper pay.
I thought wrong.

“earned”? - Sort of a nit, but the more proper wording would be “she was paid $151,000 ....”
Some will say it is a minor point, but I think it is well worth the effort to make the distinction.
I suspect she will still get her pension while in prison.

Her ex-boyfriend is riding the turtle. Ironic that she came up with the name.
And yet, 857 other State Cops made more than her. The Commandant of State Police made $386,000. While the Governor made a modest $151,000.
Here is the actual pay (2016) for a local PD:

I know a handful of the people on the list. At least two of them have <12 years on the force, barely made it through HS and can’t write a complete sentence.
And they are making over $100,000 before benefits.
