A bipartisan group of senators reached a deal on immigration Wednesday as President Trump attempted to preemptively undercut the proposal by delivering an ultimatum: Pass my plan or risk a veto.
The self-dubbed “Common Sense Caucus” of senators late Wednesday circulated legislation that would fulfill Trump’s calls to grant legal status to 1.8 million young immigrants and would appropriate $25 billion for southern border security construction projects over the next decade — not immediately, as Trump wants. The bill also would curb family-based immigration programs, but not to the extent Trump is seeking, and would not end a diversity visa lottery program that he wants eliminated.

NO COMPROMISE. PRESIDENT TRUMP has specified what must be included in any immigration agreement.
Counter offer. Full funding of the wall and path to citizenship completes when wall completes. That becomes incentive for democrats to get wall completed.
He's already laid out the ground rules and other Repubs were saying this Bill is DOA and will have to be modified into something Trump will actually sign.

How is this different from the 1986 amnesty? It is full of promises that, sometime in the future, we will secure our borders.
Amnesty was granted in 1986 with promises that our borders would be secured; they lied; the borders were NOT secured. The "Common Sense Caucus" has NO common sense!

Under Trump i believe the law will be enforced..as in commit a crime you lose your your chance and will be deported.

That’s why he shouldn’t sign any bill that has a ten year plan or allows millions of chain migration immigrants to come into the country before the law goes into effect.
