The day after the Florida school shooting, Mika Brzezinski has warned guests who have been booked to appear on Morning Joe to "go back home" if they believe this is not the time to talk about gun control.
Said Brzezinski:
"And these real conversations, and the real story of what happened yesterday has to be told. I'm looking at our esteemed list of guests today. And I don't mean to unbook the show. But I'm just going to warn anybody, and everybody, that if anybody comes on this show and says now is not the time to not talk about this, and try and look forward to something constructive, then, why don't you just get back in your car and go back home. Because we are going to talk about this."

The shooting incident involves only one loco student, who everyone knew was loco, about whom warnings existed, bans from the school property was in in effect, and yet...that lone, inanimate firearm looked all over town and found him, and enticed him to carry out his warped deeds.
Meanwhile, hundreds and hundreds of “Happy Meals” are poisoning our youth daily.

A news media demanding to discuss what YOU want to discuss is not NEWS...it’s a talk show...commentary...a rant...a mission...and propaganda.

Indicating you do not want to talk about gun control is talking about gun control, it’s expressing an opinion. A very lame thing to say from an open minded fair and balanced outfit like msnbc.

My dad (a teacher and coach for three and a half decades) was of the opinion that if you wouldn't trust a teacher to be armed, why in the hell would you trust him/her to have anything to do with your kids?
The majority of young parents I know today would let teacher "X" screw their kids up permanently through poor values and errant dogma, but not let teacher "Y" carry a handgun to protect kids from lunatics out to kill them.

Perhaps a certain Attorney General should wake up, have a cup of coffee... and then instruct the FBI that it is time for the FBI to concentrate on things like this instead of plotting political coups. As the saying goes, "We ain't got time for that!"
