Sen. Elizabeth Warren says President Donald Trump disrespects Native Americans by referring to her as "Pocahontas," and she says that while she's not enrolled in any tribe, "I never used my family tree to get a break or ... advance my career."
Warren says her parents married in Oklahoma in 1932, and that "the story they lived will always be a part of me. And no one — not even the president of the United States — will ever take that part of me away."
Trump frequently refers to Warren as "Pocahontas" to mock the Democrat's claims about being part Native American.

A question I’d love to ask to Liz:
The list of Native Americans everyone knows by name is small and Pocahontas is on it. Why is being compared to her “disrespectful”?
Warren was being ridiculed for her Native American phoneiness, and “Pocahontas” long before Trump came on the political screen...he just thought it was funny and laughed along with the rest of us.
I’ve got a meme I did about her in 2011, long before Trump.
She’s trying to “Alinsky” the situation by polarizing and ridiculing one person....ain’t gonna work.
