Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

I would take a degree of issue with your characterization of most Christians.
I would say some Christians.
Herman Wouk described in his book War and Remembrance a human characteristic described as The will not to see and it is strong in many people, not just Christians.
On this particular subject, I know of what I speak, better than most. Just my two cents worth.
“stunning” in that someone would dare to use reason and logic in considering the issue, instead of unthinking emotion!
That thinking stuff tends to be a real drag on feel-good movements.
Well said, Mr. President!
In your industry they would be gone (guilty before proven innocent)?
I am so sick and tired of the b@astardization of our Constitution.
INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty.
Solzhenitsyn had his bad points too. As did Dostoevsky long before him. Too anti-Western civilization. Even historic Western civilization.
But Putin also totally shifted from paying lip service to Solzhenitsyn and went onto full on Stalin-glorification, esp after Solz died.
What ever happened to all of those women and their allegations against Roy Moore? How much money did they get? Sometimes its not cash, but a few days of living like a millionaire, flying to NYC, limo drivers, five star hotels and gourmet meals....all first class. The swamp media doesnt count this as paying for a story, but the attention as a celebrity can be very enticing.
You're assuming the charges are true and not politically motivated.
Witch hunts are always politically motivated. This is a witch hunt. There's no preparation for it.
Youre right. I shouldnt have said most, but enough to hurt and often too prevalent among the leadership. I confess that I cannot be objective in this matter, so please forgive my broad brush. I cant play the saint, though I look forward to being one, once loosed from this veil of tears.
My faith in God is sure, but Im not so good with trusting people, whatever creed they claim.
.
No, I'm not. Because the security checks have not been completed in a timely manner, there's no way to defend against the charges. I'm assuming that the delay made charges all but inevitable and impossible to defend against.
I'll see you and, err, umm "raise" you one:
I think I knew what you meant.
I’m curious...why do you think that would have made any difference whatsoever?
Well, I view the business end in this way:
I don’t believe 1st Amendment rights are absolute. Certainly, anyone who has ever served in the military knows this to be true. Wait! Before you bite my head off, let me explain that.
I do believe you can stand on a corner and say “Jet Blue Sucks!”, but you can’t stand outside the Jet Blue Terminal as an employee, wearing Jet Blue mechanics overalls while saying “Jet Blue Sucks!”
I believe Jet Blue would have every right to fire that employee, and I would support them in that, especially if I worked at Jet Blue too.
In this case, if a woman says a guy did something to her, I believe it is the company’s right to have an internal investigation (which is what happens when someone goes to Human Resources in today’s day and age, no question) and then decide whether to keep the employee or not.
Does it mean I believe someone making a complaint is truthful every time? No, but if someone has something like that, I do believe it should be checked out.
Bottom line, I don’t view that entire process as a violation of my Constitutional rights. I believe that is the prerogative of the employer. Just my opinion.
And it certainly doesn’t mean you don’t have recourse if you are unjustly let go. You can usually obtain a trial, and people do win.
Solzhentisyn was also anti-Semitic unfortunately.
Because if the vetting had properly occurred and he's innocent, the allegations could be explained. If he's guilty, he'd be fired. Instead, they were caught off guard.
My feeling: First of all, President Trump is truly tolerant of normal imperfections that all people have. Our "tolerant" liberal society isn't tolerant at all, it's dictatorial on expectations for behavior. It's dangerous, because nobody can possibly live up to standards imposed in these irrational purges. Secondly, I'm a retired teacher. From decades of supervising a classroom, I learned that any group, especially of entitled, spoiled brats, needs discipline. This WH is behaving like an out-of-control classroom, not appreciating that the standards they're supposed to adhere to are for real. Kelly maybe doesn't get it that they'll ignore military-style discipline, because they don't expect consequences for their modes of behavior. The WH needs discipline, and everyone on staff needs to be exemplary in their understanding of the position they're in.
Right there is the flaw in your theory. So far as I know there's only one person in the Administration immune from the witch accusation, and that's Mike Pence...unless his wife gets mad at him.
That's the nature of witch hunts. You shouldn't assume rationality where none exists.
She was lying.
THANK GOD the hotel was video taping all public rooms and there was proof the bimbo reporter was lying ...
She was lying.
There are abuses on both sides... that's WHY we need to shore up the rule of law - not abandon it.
One of the reasons Weinstein got away with his abuse of women as long as he did was BECAUSE he was a liberal...or as he would say, if caught, he would just pick a fight with the NRA. The 'court of public opinion' is NOT the place to deal with these types of wrong. Too easily manipulated by 'elites' like Hollywood filth.
Lewandowski lucked out. THANK GOD the hotel was video taping all public rooms and there was proof the bimbo reporter was making it up. Not all men are that lucky. Or women. People can lie against women too - like Clinton was trying to do against Monica and Paula. Shore up access to the Court System... send illegals home so they don't clog up our courts... and use courts to set knowable standards.
FWIW, I’m not assuming rationality from the Trump haters or the social Nazis. I’m saying don’t be caught off guard. I really don’t understand why everyone in the WH doesn’t have their security clearances by now. The problem with leaks, one would think, would’ve made that even more urgent.
