Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

Even with keeping your mouth totally shut, just “leering” (only burkas will moderate that ) is problematic.
I didn’t know he raped anyone...I thought it was all casting couch stuff.
The last woman suing him sounds like she made a deal with the Devil to get her foot in the Hollywood door. (The secretary who cleaned the couch and took dictation from him while he was naked)
Justice (for both sides) v. Law.
There’s a real daily problem, no matter the system.
e.g. Comey (Mr. Ethics Instructor...)
Draining the Swamp is problematic.
A single AG is likely not enough.
It couldn’t hurt to have one looking to block the inflow and find the Drain Plug though....
I still haven’t seen any evidence of rape. That is the basis of my original question.
FBI has turned law enforcement into lawless enforcement.
Inevitably, the rotten head will infect the whole body. It evokes a sense of desperation when pundits, many whom I respect, are very quick to mention that it’s only the few in leadership (i.e. the “suits”) that are too blame.
Government bureaucrats, top to bottom, are a pack of rats.
my final response:
trial or no trial. morally speaking, for real men: the instinct should be to protect women and girls, not blame women and girls.
and when both men and women get their act together: the ridiculous excesses of “#MeToo” will go away also.
Yes this girl’s ordeal was particularly heartbreaking, and she’s not even Mormon. But thank God when His justice is dispensed on Earth as it is in Heaven.
“Rachael Denhollander - The former gymnast, who was a 15-year-old homeschooler when she says Nassar started abusing her, became the first to publicly make allegations against the respected Michigan State University faculty member.
Denhollander’s decision to invoke her faith at Nassars sentencing drew widespread attention in national and Christian media. But in her statement, the lawyer and mother of three also told the courtroom that speaking out for sexual assault victims cost me my church and our closest friends.
Three weeks before my police report I was left alone and isolated, she said.
In an interview with Christianity Today, Denhollander shared more details about her break with her church community, how poor theology causes many churches to poorly care for sex abuse victims, how she found Gods perspective on sexual abuse in Scripture, and about her convictions that forgiveness and justice are both biblical and must go hand in hand.”
Well, at least if these whores HAD the babies, there could be DNA tests, but no, they murder them and then want compensation, as well.
IOW, they want their cake and eat it, too. Or else it never really happened, probably.
Excellent poibys.
+1
Bam.
This is the stock-in-trade of the modern post-American megacorporation. IMO we have the 19th century industrial monopolists to thank for it.
Well... I don’t think Harvey Weinstein is like the gods on Olympus, in that every time he rapes someone they get pregnant, rendering a world full of little Harveys and Harvenas (not to be confused with hyenas).
That was my take. In the case I mentioned, she found her way into an indie movie (I am pretty sure it was after her stint as his secretary) and that movie went nowhere, that was it for her Hollywood career.
To some people it probably sounds like I am defending someone like Weinstein, but I am not. I think he is a reprehensible, disgusting pervert.
I understand women have had to put up with men leering at them, groping them and saying lewd things, and I am certain that many a woman has grit her teeth and grind her way through that environment because she needs the job.
But when he comes out stark naked to dictate, and you don’t simply put down the pen and quit on the spot and report it to police, you have made a calculation in your head that your potential reward is worth the risk.
Worse, you have made it even worse for every single woman who works after your time there is done. You have damned those women who come after you to have to go through the same thing.
Because you neither quit nor reported it to the authorities, you have reinforced to him that there is a calculus that his potential victims will work out in their heads, and in the worst case (for him) the woman quits. In the best case (for him) he gets to do his dirty deeds.
Just my opinion. Did he ever rape anyone? I haven’t seen evidence of that. But I have seen plenty of evidence that he has taken advantage of vulnerable women, and broken laws on things ranging from indecent exposure to sexual assault.
But sexual assault in the traditional sense is not rape. Certain places have made them the same, which I think is absolutely stupid. Forcing intercourse and feeling a breast in passing are not the same. Anyone who thinks they are (and in certain places they are) is doing victims of rape a grave and insulting disservice.
Biased ABC News opens the nightly news attacking President Trump with this exact line “His stunning tweet calling for due process.” Stunning? Does ABC disagree with our justice system and tradition? #BiasedMedia #FakeNews

Great post.
Awesome link! What am amazing lady, and truth-teller. Victims of sexual abuse are often victims of churches.
Many wear their scars much too visibly, and are often judged more harshly than the perpetrators who have spent a lifetime crafting the perfect persona. Most Christians are more comfortable around those masks than dealing with hurting people. Christ called us to vigilance against the wolves, and Gods judgement against them is black and white:
Better a millstone...
Uranium One, then Comey’s under-something just retired (# XX of FBI people jumping ship), and the MSM focuses on Trump “supporting” a staffer who was ACCUSED of battery.
Trump was ACCUSED of RAPE by his former wife. After the divorce proceeding and a profitable outcome (?), ex-wife walked it back.
If Trump’s refuses to identify someone as guilty before trial, that would be against our constitution (innocent until proven guilty). I am so sick and tired of women accusing men of assault/rape for profit or politics. And I am a woman.
Thanks. I am with people on this who think there is something dangerously amiss with this approach.
I don’t have a problem with someone bringing charges against someone who engages in this stuff...as a matter of fact, that SHOULD have happened in nearly ALL of these cases!
If charges had been brought years ago, we probably would never be here today. Hollywood and the media positions would be treated the same as anyone else in normal business who acts that way towards women.
That is, it wouldn’t happen, and if it did, the person would be gone.
I should qualify...At least in my industry they would be gone. I readily acknowledge there are areas (besides the media and Hollywood) where that is not always the case.
