It has gone beyond annoying.
‘I’ve heard it pronounced both ways’ he says. Lame excuse. Any humor has long been wrung out of it.
And isn’t he deaf as a post and openly admits his implants don’t convey sounds reliably 100% of the time? So he really hasn’t ‘heard’ it at all.
In a story about otherwise anonymous people he will endeavor to get the pronunciation of names correct(ed). Why not in this case?
