Not a problem for the H1-b’s ,, they typically have the prettiest woman in the village given to them when they get a contract with one of these companies.

For the rest it’s very unfair ,, sometimes “I’m busy” means she is actually busy.. unless she says “I’m not interested , leave me alone please” ... that isn’t harassment at all.

Ok, so it’s ok to ask women out...got it. If one says no, just ask another, then another, then another, then another. What if they are married, is there a rule for that? What if it’s same sex, what if they are your employee or boss?

This part of the hr manual gonna be really big!

Oh man, so glad I own my own business and just have two people I work with!

All of this nonsense should be stron encouragement to quit and go into business for thmselves.

> Employees at Facebook and Google are only allowed to ask out colleagues on a date once... <

From the title of the article, I actually expected something worse. This policy isn't so bad, except for the "I'm busy" thing. That shouldn't count. If the other person isn't interested, just say "Sorry, I'm not interested".

As a side note, I sure wish my company had such a policy. The person below has repeatedly asked me to be her "beard". I'm tired of saying "I'm not interested" over and over again.

I met my wife at work. I had to stalk her to get her alone so I could talk to her without seeming to interfere with her work. We had been passing by each other, ok I made a point to pass by her, and smiling at each other. Beautiful - long black hair nearly to her waist. She flashed a smile at me and it was like a lightning strike. Caught her in our break room one day and asked her out. We dated on the sly for two years and got married. Everyone was surprised. 20 years later this would not have been possible.

People who work at Google deserve this, and more.

Bastards. This eliminates male/female friendships. This opens the way for hysterical women to accuse a man of harassment, if she perceives, in the empty space between her ears, that the man is “asking her out.”

Some companies used to have policies against dating or marrying co-workers. There are good reasons for it. So, while Google et al load these policies up with PC nonsense, in principle, they are OK with me.

Except if the man is attractive. She won’t report him for asking her out a second time if he’s attractive.

Google who looks at “private” pics of people, and God only knows what else, is setting dating policies?
