Uniformed officer asked to leave 'gun-free' Outback Steakhouse because of service weapon

A uniformed officer carrying his service weapon was asked to leave an Outback Steakhouse restaurant because it is a designated “gun-free zone.”

Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency officer Andrew Ward went to Outback Steakhouse to have dinner with his wife Friday evening, he wrote in a public Facebook post.

Ward said in the post that a manager approached him and requested that he put his gun in his truck. Ward told the manager that he could not because he was in uniform and had to have his weapon on his person.

The manager left to make a call, Ward writes, and then returned to ask Ward and his wife to leave because Outback is a “gun free zone.”

And soon to be a customer free zone as well.

She’s escorted to the car? Does she always have someone escort her to her car whenever she sees a cop near by? Sounds like a left wing set up.

And probably got a free meal to boot!

Come to think of it, that may have been her main motivation, eh?

Our family has been ill there twice - once in Anaheim, once in Everett, WA.

We don’t go, even though the bread there is excellent.

I didn’t know the Australians actually ran those places.

““...Ward said the chain told him “there was another customer that was ‘scared for her life’ who was seated across” from the couple, and said “she was afraid because ‘police are shooting people.’”

According to Ward’s post, “This customer went on to demand to be escorted to her vehicle out of fear of being shot.”...”

On the other hand, the way some trigger happy cops are bumping the wrong people off these days she may have a point.

“On the policeman’s Facebook he said there was a customer sitting across from him that said she was in fear for her life because police are going around shooting people, and demanded that she be escorted to her car.”

Probably some newly arrived JAP pilgrim from NYC.

“Must be up to the local manager, I’ve been to several of their restaurants while carrying and saw no postings.”

No problems at the Sante Fe or Las Cruces Outbacks.

Who is she going to ask to walk her to her car? If I felt unsafe, the cop would be the first person I’d ask to escort me. Everything is upside down in this dimwit’s world. She’s nothing but a loudmouthed liberal tool who craves attention.

“When I see a gun-free zone” sign, I turn around and leave. I vote with my wallet every single time I can.”

Amazingly, of all un-Christlike places, gun free private businesses-outside of shitcago/crook county-are extremely rare in illannoy. At least in my experience. The only one I’ve seen lately was a local Dominos Pizza. But then their pizza absolutely sucked so I wouldn’t be going back one way or the other.

I've been thinking about designing some "I Saw This Sign and Decided to Eat Elsewhere" stickers to keep in the car, and paste on the 30.06 / 30.07 signs here in Texas. Maybe sell them on Cafepress or through Arfcom.

The difference is that I live in the anti-gun People's Republic of Maryland. I don't carry. If I did and got caught, I would expect a longer sentence than a thug with a gun would receive for armed robbery. That's just the nature of leftist politics. Sadly, for family reasons, I have chosen to stay in this cesspool.

Simple lady customer, don’t start no sh!t, won’t be no sh!t.
