A bill aimed at resetting immigration negotiations in the Senate is running into early backlash from President Trump.
The bill from Sens. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Christopher Coons (D-Del.), introduced on Monday, pairs a path to citizenship for “dreamers” with border security measures — but does not include funding for a U.S.-Mexico border wall.
The two senators believe their bill could be a base for negotiators among a wider group of senators, but Trump took a shot at the measure before it was even formally introduced.
The president said it was a non-starter to offer a fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which protects many immigrants who entered the United States illegally as children, without funding for the wall.
“Any deal on DACA that does not include STRONG border security and the desperately needed WALL is a total waste of time,” he wrote in a tweet. “March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Dems seem not to care about DACA. Make a deal!”

EXACTLY what I was thinking. Pretty damn clear that McCain is busy dying, since he hasn’t shown his face for the past couple of months, nor (as far as I know) actually shown up for work (in spite of receiving a paycheck to do so). So WHO REALLY WROTE THIS? Does anyone have proof it was actually McCain and not someone acting (with or without his permission) on his behalf? How can we have a government with so little accountability that a bill can be introduced under someone’s name with no proof that someone actually had anything to do with it?
Come on, Senate Republicans - grow a pair and start asking these questions!

If they agree to his terms he will whittle down the number of DACA people to include only those with a totally clean record, who work, graduated school, are not on welfare of any sort....those that meet such requirements are not all that likely to vote overwhelmingly for crazy dems.
If they don't agree to Trump's terms he will have them rounded up and shipped out.
