The Palestinian Authority said Monday that Greenblatts efforts to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israel have no chances of succeeding.
The Palestinians are particularly angered at what they believe is a US effort to replace the current leadership of the PA.
Greenblatt, in a speech before the annual conference of the Institute for National Strategic Studies, said that the United States is as committed as ever to reaching an agreement that guarantees a peaceful, prosperous future for both Israelis and Palestinians. Thats why this administration continues to work on developing a peace plan that can bring both parties to the table.
He added, It is easy to walk away from the table. But that helps no one and reduces or perhaps even eliminates the chances of achieving a comprehensive peace agreement, and that would be terrible for the Palestinian people.
Greenblatt also defended US President Donald Trumps December 6 decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israels capital. When President Trump made his historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israels capital, he was not rewriting history, he was recognizing a historic reality, he said.
Greenblatt dismissed Palestinian charges that Trumps move was an attempt to determine a final status outcome. The president was absolutely clear that the United States has not prejudiced any final status issues, including the specific boundaries of Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem, he said.
At a meeting in Brussels of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee, a 15-member body that serves as the principal policy-level coordination mechanism for development assistance to the Palestinians, the US envoy dismissed allegations that the Trump administration was sabotaging development by threatening to cut funding to the Palestinians.

In Ramallah, the PA Foreign Ministry accused the Zionist American Greenblatt of endorsing the positions of the extremists in Israel.

We used to have Capitalist Running Dog envoys, but I guess they were replaced.
Good. I’m not a dog person, or a cat person, either. At least Greenblatt’s no pussy.
“Palestinians”... not sure who they talk about. Seem like they care more about power and free money for the corrupt there than “Palestinians”, whatever that means in the first place.
Yes, exactly, and I have yet to see any “ZIONISTS” proposing to exterminate all Arabs on the West Bank or in the Gaza Strip.
The Arabs do one thing better than almost anyone else on the planet, talk crap.
Take a look at the Leftists in the U. S., and you’ll see a group that went to school on their tactics.
Aren’t they mostly Islamic? That meanie Allah is what they talk about. Israel shouldn’t even be existing per the will of Allah.
Yup
I’d send them a Christian, not Greenblatt. And tell them that their Allah hasn’t wiped the Jews or Israel away, nor can he ever, so repent of your sins and believe!
I don’t know anything about Greenblatt, so I can’t really address him.
The rest is something I can agree with.
I have seen the 42 bedroom houses built by Hamas leadership for themselves with American money. They had custom tinted green windows and green metal roofs in the stone buildings to show their solidarity with the Hamas way.
The Palestinians obviously never read Dale Carnegie’s book . . .

For muzzies?
It’s written in English in a Jewish magazine by the head Imam for Italy. Don’t know if he wrote it in Italian or Arabic, but he’s made public statements like these for years.
I fear Greeks even when they bear gifts.
Readings of Islam based on early chapters of the Koran are kinder and gentler than those based on later chapters. I get the idea of “sweet talk the Jews then jihad jump all over them.” Christianity doesn’t have that written into the bible.
True enough, but along with all the jihad jumping in the Koran, there’s also Surah 17 and 5, as interpreted by Sheikh Pallazzi. It’s not much, but Surah 17 is also the Surah about mad Mo ascending to heaven and going to the “furthest mosque” that’s the basis of them plopping down two mosques on the Temple Mount and getting all jihad jumpy every time a Jew utters a prayer or waves a palm frond around on a holiday there.
If an Imam can be found in Israel who might be persuaded to adopt this interpretation of the Koran, which is really straight forward, life and the peace process could be made so much easier. Persuasion might take the form of clandestine favors or outright bribery, or just a Shin Bet agent, who knows his stuff
and is in deep cover, talking to the man.
Nothing’s impossible, though the gent may be trying to troll Israel.
I think they have to write in Arabic for it to be considered serious. Infidel languages are for taqqiya.
Just my $0.02. In an infidel currency. But anyhow Allah is bigger trouble than territory. His theology is just plain mean. Better to just keep beating him back in the name of the God of the bible.
Make them doubt their own doctrine or actions, and they’re easier to beat back. I’ve always thought the IDF should plant little dolls behind rocks and have them call out to passing known terrorists, “A Jew is hiding behind me, Oh noble Muslim. Come and kill him.” When he comes with his knife out, detonate the doll and have a sniper finish him. Post it on You Tube. It’ll drive ‘em nuts.
Thanks Eleutheria5. Because of Trump's funding cut, Abbas had to get the *small* $50 million private jet!
He wanted the $75 Mil private jet. Boy is he PO’d. Now he’s got to make do with an economy jet, and there’s no money left over for the Falestinian Feofle.
