Rep Gohmert appeared on Fox News Sunday to talk about the FISA abuse memo which was released Friday. Gohmert also revealed he is requesting the House Judiciary Committee subpoena the FISA court hearing transcripts.
“I have prepared a letter that I plan to submit to and hopefully have other people sign on with me tomorrow on our Judiciary Committee we have a great Chairman [Bob Goodlatte] on our Judiciary Committee. He wants to get to the facts and what I’m asking him for is that we as the Judiciary Committee subpoena the transcripts from the FISA court hearings, the four different ones at least regarding the dossier…I want to hear everything that was said,” Gohmert said.
Gohmert wants to know why the FISA judge hasn’t put anyone in jail for committing a fraud against the court. Hint: The FISA judge was appointed by Obama.

Under the DOJ regulations, the SC answers to the AG (or DAG if AG is recused); but with judicious selection of SC, even that can be bypassed. Comey bypassed it when he appointed Fitzgerald to go after President Bush.
The democrats are saying that this judge was thoroughly informed of the conflicts surrounding the FISA warrant request. He approves them not once, but at least 3 more times.
So, these guys can’t have it both ways. Either:
1. The FISA was NOT informed and lied too, and therefore approved the warrants or
2. He was fully informed and chose to approve them anyway.
Keep in mind that these are FISA I warrants that allow for a broad base of surveillance. This would include anyone associated with Carter Page. This would mean the entire Trump campaign was wire tapped.
So, if it’s one, the Comey, Rosenstein, etc etc. should be held in contempt.
If it’s #2, then we have another example of the judiciary run amuck.
It’s getting more obvious the Judge(s) were hand picked rats.
I don’t see Gohmert as part of deep state.
He was talking about this judge.

I suspect he was aware he had a problem long before Friday.
One of the reasons the great civilizations, before they became corrupted, had public trials in public courts, open to all. The very phrase "secret tribunal" should make people's blood run cold.
The Deep State is DEEP. What frightens me most is the technology they have at their fingertips. What the Rats have done is a tiny fraction of the Evil they will do when they are completely cornered by the Truth.. The World will know what corrupt criminal liars they really are.

I like the idea. If I were in congress, I would support making all the Carter Page surveillance warrants public.
He must be innocent or they would have filed charges against him. It’s pretty clear Page wasn’t the real target of the surveillance; it was Trump and his orbit.
Wholeheartedly agree - the long term Dem assault and the RINOs complicity has desensitized way too many of the People.
I also saw Rep Tom Garrett on CNN today calling to release the underlying info leading to the memo. He accused the Dem memo as not only being inaccurate, but also so entwined with methods and processes that he expects it was done on purpose forcing Republicans to vote it down or heavily redact so they can claim cover-up.
But this dispute is very easily resolved: Just release the transcript of McCabe’s testimony to the public. This is not hard. All of these criticisms of the memo can be resolved by releasing all of the underlying documentation upon which it is based. You can bet the Democrats will fight tooth and nail to keep that transcript secret, no doubt with the FBI’s help. When you see that happening, you know who is lying.
"Liberals" were lying about the MEMO containing classified information that could 'compromise' our security too... AND 'THE PRESS' DIDN'T CALL THEM ON THAT LIE even when the memo was released and it was obvious to all democrats were lying. ...
This would be the same.
If we can PROVE - beyond a shadow of a doubt we're right on this - it wouldn't matter. Their shills in the press would protect the liars... they would NOT cover the story honestly = they never do. Their hated of us makes them stand with the liars.
I think it’s becoming painfully obvious the Judge is dirty too. The Rats are claiming with great confidence that FISA court was fully aware of the pedigree of the so called justification info to get the warrant and renewals. Notice not one peep not even a hint of concern from the Judge that he/she was misled.
It was after all an Obongo Judge.
I don’t believe the Supreme Court can do anything like your suggestion.
Until actual cases are filed the ball is in the Congress’s court. It could impeach and remove judges for corruption and other high crimes and misdemeanors.
I only wish. Congress works very hard to undermine the people’s wishes. We should buy and present the Democrats with country club membership if it would keep them in bed or on the greens.
