Representative Nadler is a shrewd lawyer but he has spent his life in legislatures rather than courtrooms. Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York, the senior Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, has written a six-page response to the FISA-abuse memo published Friday by the committee’s Republican staffers under the direction of Chairman Devin Nunes (R., Calif.). I won’t get sidetracked by the fact that Nadler’s “Dear Democratic Colleague” letter has been “exclusively obtained” by NBC News — i.e., that it was leaked to the media, whereas the so-called Nunes memo was provided to committee Democrats before publication so they could seek changes. The Nunes memo had to be subjected to a rules-based process because of classified-information issues. The Nadler memo does not seem to contain classified information; it just responds to what the Republicans have produced, which is now public record. I don’t agree with Jerry Nadler’s politics, but he is an able lawyer. What surprises me about his retort is how weak it is. If you don’t have time to read it. The short version is that the Carter Page FISA applications are strong evidence of a witch hunt.
Any Dem memo responses are written and geared to provide talking points to media and other Dems.
Someone should pay for leaking it.
McCarthy would have made a better AG than what we have.....
And to that end, the democrat memo has been out since Friday afternoon.

It just goes to show why the Nunes memo being released was necessary. If anyone were to have leaked it, the media would simply ignore it.
Like I said in an earlier post, Nadless, looks like that green ball of snot in the Mucenex commercials. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a head where the jaw area is twice as wide as the cortex. Reminds me of a Baboon!

The dem position is: since an international businessman was doing international business with other international businessmen, some of whom were Russians!!!, that was a good enough reason to spy on everyone in the Trump campaign.

I’m pretty convinced of the reasoning behind the Nunes memo. But then, I am not a fan of witch hunts, either.

Worth reading, a number of good points that haven’t been discussed, and a pretty full understanding of the real, rather than dramatic politics, issues that actually matter in relation to the memo and this criticism. I learned a few things and now realize that even our side, while not wrong, is missing a few things that are not only relevant, but crucial.
