I figure if 3% of the public trusts the press, and 97% of the public sees it as liars, the press will STILL carry on as it is. National Enquirer makes money, no reason for the press to be any more accurate or factual.
IIRC, recent polls have a substantial majority of the public viewing the press as unreliable at best. Trust in the press. This is touted as "good news" by the press ...

I met many of these people in my young life. Sarah Palin was the wrong choice at the time, she could not fight back.
Trump fights back, but where are the people who should be supporting him now? Are they hanging low? There are still elites in the Republican Party who do not get it. Trump has more than half the country still on his side. He has significant support.

I like that Gowdy says nice things about his peers. Says they are nice folks who come to different conclusions.

Then, Gowdy discreetly slips in the shiv. Yes, the successful FISA Warrant application had the discredited Dossier and supporting Yahoo news article. Why would the DOJ&FBI put in that nonsense when they had the other FISA probable cause elements, the multi-year Carter page investigation and interviews and the other minor item.
Yea Gowdy, you keep defending the muh Russia collusion....wait, what, so that means the first FISA application, with only the Carter Page stuff, was SO WEAK a warrant was denied!
