In another story Fox is reporting that DJT is refusing the traditional pregame Super Bowl interview. Good for him.

Thanks bro for your efforts putting this thread together every week for so many years. It has been a great vehicle in the FR culture to understand what is going on in the swamp and a vision of where it is going.
With the series of future memos most here would agree it is going straight to Obama. He not only set the stage for all of this but apparently passed his daily presidential briefings along to HC. They included the results of the surveillance on the opposing presidential candidate and evidentially the president elect.

I saw that as well. Swalwell is a real piece of work, but unfortunately Tucker lacks the skills necessary to handle slimes like that. He lets them interrupt, talk over him and essentially dominate the conversation, while he just sits there looking baffled and confused, only getting to make his final quip as the segment ends. That shtick has gotten old.
That's why this thread and the "Twitterverse" exist.

The Elite Media probably meets behind the scenes with strategy to keep us divided. Attorneys from both sides of a case, often meet to keep the case alive, for financial reasons. It is a deliberate way to keep us interested each day, regardless of which side you believe. I am sure the Democrats and Republicans in the House eat lunch, and have drinks after work. Part of their strategy is a game, to keep certain issues alive. Politics is much like sports. There are winners and losers. We need to pick sides today for the Super Bowl. The next week another game day is on. There will be a new deck of cards and new issues to debate.

It also might not be a bad idea to review their "work" for the past 8 years.

This thread is probably my favorite on Free Republic and I don't even have cable TV or watch one of these shows in over a decade.
You and Alas Babylon! set the table for some of the best off the cuff analysis of the past week and what is due up in the week to come. I routinely see derivatives of discussions here passed off as original work through out the mediasphere.
Keep writing and more importantly doing your own thinking its a defining feature of this board.

1) The Dims and MSM have their hair on fire proclaiming all sorts of nonsense. Meanwhile, the fact the Government spied on Trump is set in concrete.
2) The State Department memo. SPECULATION-the memo outlines how the powers of State Department were used to help Hillary??
3) The Presidential Daily Briefing-Another memo demonstrating that 99.9% of said briefing, data collected by the 17+ intel agencies, focused on GOP candidates, and Bernie?, then fed to Hillary to provide Hillary an unfair advantage????
4) They suspected Carter Page many years ago. They were watching Carter for many years. Then Gowdy repeats the facts! FISA applications NEED probable cause. The first FISA application, with Carter Page data and some other minor data,was NOT ENOUGH for a FISA WARRANT. Enter UglyOhr to compose a Steele Dossier that was salted into the FISA application, in order to overcome the first Judges objections. Voila, Warrant granted!
5) When all Memo’s are published, we discover all elements of the Federal Government are deployed to rig an election in favor of Hillary, with 0bama and Jarret conducting the entire operation???????
6) Fortunately, 0bama has the reverse midas touch, and his final project blew up in his face????

How do we correct flawed reporting? There are certain people who will believe anything said by a Democrat or anything said by a Republican. Each party has flaws. The best thing to do is just listen and decide the truth quietly without distortion. I know enough of these so called journalists, to understand many of them are not very intelligent. Remember some of these people back in college, who didn’t know basic things about reality? Many of the Professors were out in left field, not knowing how to even check their oil in a car.
