An Amtrak passenger train collided with a freight train in South Carolina early Sunday morning, causing injuries, the national passenger railroad service said. Amtrak said in a statement, "Amtrak Train 91, operating between New York and Miami, came in contact with a CSX freight train at around 2:35 am in Cayce, South Carolina." The statement continued, "The lead engine derailed, as well as some passenger cars. There were 8 crew members and approximately 139 passengers, with injuries reported. Local authorities are on the scene responding. More information will be provided as available."

Just by looking at the pictures, it looks like both trains were on the same track.
Deep State retaliation and a warning of what they are capable of.

The contemporary term false flag describes covert operations that are designed to
deceive in such a way that activities appear as though they are being carried out by
individual entities, groups, or nations other than those who actually planned and
executed them. Lance deHaven-Smith states that “The term false flag ..
Something suspiciously amiss.
Yes, those slime bags.
What the heck is going on with Amtrak?
Yes,I agree. The freight being parked (in the hole) and amtrak at speed.
Any privately owned rail road that had a record of fatal disasters like Amtrak would be out of business and a good number of its executives in jail. None of this ever happens with Amtrak.
“Train collisions appear to be on the rise, no? Terrorists or Antifa?”
Yes, Amtrak does not appear to be up to the task of safely operating a rail line network these days.
Yes,I agree. The freight being parked (in the hole) and amtrak at speed.

What if the ‘hole’ the freight was supposed to be parked in is the empty track in front of the Amtrak? Checking whether the wiring in the track sensor / controller was tampered might show evidence of deep state interference to take our minds off of The Memo this weekend.
Only government would keep something like that afloat.
Thanks! I see. The Democrats and their operatives are MASTERS of the false flag.
As of this moment it APPEARS to be that the AMTRAK Passenger train was the only one moving (59mph) and in the wrong place. It is probable that the two dead, being AMTRAK employees, may have been the engineers in the lead engine. The place of the accident is an assembly/switching yard where trains are assembled and railcars are moved for proper destinations.
Pertinent facts appear (to me) that the AMTRAK train thought it had clear track ahead and was permitted to move at normal speed. This likely means that something happened with the switching that put the AMTRAK train on the same rail as the immobile CSX train. I am somewhat certain that the selection of track is NOT UNDER the control of the train’s engineers but rather that of the switching yard and/or a central control point and most likely being an operation of the track owners - CSX.
Another possible cause would be that the AMTRAK engineers failed to see or disregarded a stop signal. They were most likely to have been quite experienced (assumption) on this route and were not worried about going through this switching yard at speed at that time of night.
Frankly, I think the first explanation of switching and/or control failure is most likely and as such responsibility will rest on CSX. Again, these are assumptions and they are only mine.
Are you certain they were on the same track?
on thestate.com is drone footage (private by someone named brandon) that shows a full line view fraom both sides of SC 321 overpass, and both ends of the amtrak train and most of the CSX.
Following the line back toward Columbia, the station train 91 had just left... the line is a single line.
The tracks coming out of the car hauler loading/unloading center are from two sides of the facility there— and each one has 3 tracks merging to two on the property and then merging to one track out to the 3-track “siding” which has the through line all the way to the merge at either end of that mainline siding (southbound not visible, northbound is visible just beyond the baggage car (last car of the amtrak train). The empty (said to by empty by on the scene reports, police) CSX car hauler train (cars/pigs say Union Pacific btw) the engines are northbound on the “inside” main single line— the same line that amtrak came in on from the Columbia station.
CSX engines were idled, and no engineers in them - the train was empty. This was massive screw up of CSX and/or the car hauler yard “manager”, because the two tracks closest to the auto loading yard would be typically have trains being put together on two tracks that are next to the single N-S main line.
Question is— why was an empty CSX auto hauling train, with no engineers in the cab... standing still on the main through line? Unless the amtrak train was to be switched into the middle track of the 3 which would run the entire length of the empty CSX train until it past the joining switch/at the end of the CSX northbound train.
Amtrak, going 50mph acc. to the State newspaper (below max speed of 59 for that segment) was OK’d by CSX dispatch upon leaving Columbia station and passing a large CSX freight marshalling yard on the SW side of the Congaree River crossing. Might be they didn’t see a “stop” light on the single line coming in— but the CSX dispatch would have to know that before Oking the amtrak past their own marshalling yard. Several possiblities. The stationary CSX double engines were hit by a 50mph Amtrak engine/electromotor towing the passenger, sleeper and baggage cars— that kept moving once the “dead stop” of the two engines separated them at the first towed car. Dreadful==the engineer and conductor in the cab of the amtrak would be crushed between the huge diesel engine and the larger CSX stationary freight diesel. God Bless them- no chance.
Maps and 6006le or Bing maps satellite views give a clear picture that is the single line which the the CSX train is sitting idle.
Signals were “suspended” due to CSX maintenance, train authority governed by paper “track warrant,” switch to siding was left open by freight crew, train hit head on in siding at about 40 mph, Amtrak conductor and engineer died in crushed cab, one passenger car split into a V-shape.
